Fanatics has combined its sports betting, online casino and prediction-market products into a single app, creating one of the clearest examples yet of how traditional betting companies are adapting to the growth of event-contract trading.
The new Fanatics Sports & Casino app launched on September 2, 2026, bringing Fanatics Sportsbook, Fanatics Casino and Fanatics Markets under one login. Customers use one Fanatics account and one FanCash balance, while the app automatically adjusts which products are available based on the user's physical location.
Existing customers can access the new experience through an app update while keeping their account details, funds, FanCash and Fanatics ONE status, according to Fanatics' launch announcement.
The change is more significant than simply combining three products under one icon. Fanatics is now using a single app to connect state-regulated sports betting and online casino gaming with federally regulated prediction markets across a much wider U.S. footprint.
Fanatics says its new app can provide access to three separate products depending on where the customer is located.
Fanatics Sportsbook is available in 23 states plus Washington D.C. The sportsbook remains the company's traditional sports betting product, operating through state gaming licenses.
Fanatics Casino is available in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Those four states permit regulated real-money online casino gaming and Fanatics offers slots, table games and live dealer products in eligible locations.
Fanatics Markets is available in 22 states plus American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Unlike the sportsbook, Markets is built around event contracts rather than traditional sportsbook wagers. The most interesting part of the new app may be how the three products fit together geographically.
Fanatics Markets' current 22-state list does not overlap with the 23 states where Fanatics Sportsbook operates. That means the prediction-market product can give Fanatics a presence in major states where its sportsbook is unavailable.
California and Texas are the clearest examples. Neither state currently offers statewide legal online sports betting, so customers cannot use Fanatics Sportsbook there. Fanatics Markets, however, is currently available in both states.
Florida provides another example. Fanatics does not operate its sportsbook in the state, but Florida is included on the Fanatics Markets availability list.
The reverse applies in states such as New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio, where Fanatics Sportsbook is available but Fanatics Markets currently is not.
The result is an app that can effectively change products as the user crosses state lines. A customer may see a traditional sportsbook in one state and prediction-market trading in another without needing a separate Fanatics account.
That distinction matters because prediction markets and sportsbooks operate under different regulatory models. Fanatics Sportsbook is regulated at the state level, while Morton St. Trading Investments LLC, doing business as Fanatics Markets, is registered with the CFTC as a futures commission merchant and is an NFA member. Current Fanatics Markets contracts are offered through Crypto.com Derivatives North America.
Sports event contracts remain the subject of legal and regulatory disputes in several states, so availability can still change.
FanCash is the feature that ties the new app together.
Fanatics says customers can earn FanCash through eligible sportsbook bets, casino play and Fanatics Markets trades. That FanCash can then be used across the wider Fanatics ecosystem, including eligible merchandise, tickets and collectibles.
The company is therefore connecting products that would normally exist in separate ecosystems:
Sportsbook → Casino → Prediction Markets → Merchandise → Tickets → Collectibles
For Fanatics, that is a significant advantage over standalone prediction-market platforms. The objective is not simply to persuade a customer to make another trade or bet. Fanatics can reward activity with a currency that also has value across its broader sports business.
Fanatics Markets only launched in December 2025, but the product has moved quickly from a standalone prediction-market offering to a prominent part of the company's main gaming app.
The platform has already added FanCash rewards, live sports features, price-tolerance controls and limit orders. On September 1, Fanatics Markets introduced limit orders that allow traders to set the maximum price they are willing to pay rather than accepting the currently available market price.
One day later, Markets became part of the unified Fanatics Sports & Casino experience.
That sequence suggests prediction markets are becoming more than a side product for Fanatics.
The company can now offer traditional sports betting where it holds state licenses, online casino gaming in four regulated iGaming states and event-contract trading across a separate 22-state footprint — all through the same app and loyalty ecosystem.
Less than a year after Fanatics Markets launched, prediction markets have become part of the core Fanatics sports experience.
Fanatics is not the only major U.S. betting brand moving prediction markets closer to its core sportsbook and casino experience.
DraftKings Predictions launched in December 2025 as a standalone prediction-market product, but DraftKings has since integrated the experience into its broader DraftKings Sports & Casino app. In June 2026, the company also launched its own proprietary exchange, DKeX, giving it greater control over the prediction-market product and placing event contracts more firmly inside its wider betting ecosystem.
FanDuel Predicts has followed a similar path into federally regulated event contracts. The platform allows users to trade Yes/No contracts tied to future outcomes and has continued expanding its sports and entertainment offering through partnerships with CFTC-regulated exchanges.
The wider trend is becoming difficult to ignore. Fanatics DraftKings and FanDuel are no longer treating prediction markets as an entirely separate category. Instead they are increasingly positioning event-contract trading alongside the sportsbook casino and loyalty products their customers already use.
That makes Fanatics' new unified app part of a broader shift: the biggest U.S. betting companies are building prediction markets into the same customer ecosystems that were previously centered almost entirely on traditional sports betting.
