The Miami Heat travel to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night in an important inter-conference game in the NBA. Both teams are right on the border between being a play-in tournament team and a proper playoff team so far this season. They are looking for a key victory to help them solidify a place in the top six in their respective conferences. Here, I break down this matchup in the NBA and give you my Heat vs Timberwolves prediction.

Score Projection: Miami Heat 114 – Minnesota Timberwolves 122

I am going to take the Minnesota Timberwolves to win and cover the spread at home against the Miami Heat. Minnesota has been elite at home this year, while I'm not sure that the return of Tyler Herro would make Miami better if it were to happen tonight. Expect another strong showing for the Wolves and for them to win this game by at least three possessions.
