The Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors will meet in Game 6 of their Eastern Conference playoff series on Friday night. Cleveland heads north with a chance to close out its first-round series after a dramatic Game 5 comeback that flipped the tone of this matchup. Toronto returns home facing elimination, and the pressure shifts squarely onto the home team in a series where home teams are 5-0 going into Cavaliers vs Raptors Game 6.
The Cleveland Cavaliers seized a 3-2 series lead with a 125-120 win in Game 5 after trailing by double digits multiple times in that game. That rally showcased the depth of the Cavaliers, with players like Sam Merrill and Evan Mobley stepping up late. Toronto, on the other hand, is dealing with injury concerns, including Brandon Ingram’s heel issue and the absence of Immanuel Quickley. Those absences have impacted their offensive consistency, especially in the closing minutes.
Home-court advantage is a huge story going into Game 6. The home team has won each of the first five games of the series, with the home team going 4-1 against the spread during that stretch. If that trend continues, we will get a Game 7 in Cleveland over the weekend, while the Cavs look to end that trend and move onto the second round.

Cleveland Cavaliers
This game is just about a coin flip as far as I'm concerned. As a result, I'm going to take the points with the Toronto Raptors. Home teams have dominated the proceedings in this series so far, and there is a very real chance that we will see a Game 7 because of that. My projections show value in taking the points with the Raptors here, in what should be an excellent basketball game north of the border.
