The Cleveland Guardians and Atlanta Braves wrap up their interleague series on Sunday night with each club looking to claim the rubber game. Cleveland responded to a lopsided loss in the opener with a dominant 6-0 shutout on Saturday, showing just how dangerous its pitching staff can be when it finds rhythm. Atlanta, meanwhile, continues to lean on one of the more productive lineups in baseball early this season, giving this Guardians vs Braves finale an interesting contrast between pitching and power hitting teams.

- Cleveland evened the series with a 6-0 shutout behind strong pitching on Saturday.
- Atlanta remains one of the more productive offenses early with a .258 team average.
- The over/under is 1-1 in games between these teams this weekend. Generally, the Guardians will have the advantage in lower-scoring games, while the Braves will be more comfortable in a slugfest of some kind.

Guardians vs Braves Model Projection
- Score Projection: Cleveland Guardians 3 - Atlanta Braves 5
- Win Probability: Cleveland Guardians 42%, Atlanta Braves 58%
This matchup leans heavily on starting pitching, and while Bibee has been steady, Sale’s ability to limit base runners stands out. Atlanta’s offense also holds a clear statistical advantage, producing more runs, hits, and power early in the season. Even though Cleveland showed its upside with Saturday’s shutout, replicating that effort against a deeper Braves lineup is a tall task. My recommendation is to lay the runline with Atlanta here, as their starting pitching should set the tone for a win to close out this three-game set with the Guardians.
