Our prediction to win the 2026 Conference USA championship is Liberty. The Flames have separated themselves from much of the conference through their combination of offensive production and defensive consistency. Liberty has been particularly impressive against CUSA opponents, controlling the clock with its rushing attack while allowing very little scoring.
Jacksonville State is the biggest obstacle to Liberty's championship hopes and in this market for college football predictions. The Gamecocks have demonstrated an ability to win close games and have reached the conference championship game in each of the past two seasons. However, Liberty's more convincing conference performances and stronger defensive results give the Flames an advantage in a potential championship matchup.
