The Dallas Wings travel to Los Angeles on Friday night for a Western Conference clash with the Los Angeles Sparks at Crypto.com Arena. Dallas enters the game as one of the biggest early surprises of the 2026 season, carrying a 6-3 record and a three-game winning streak. The Wings have received strong production from Paige Bueckers, Azzi Fudd, Jessica Shepard, and a revamped roster that has dramatically improved from last season. Los Angeles sits at 4-5 but could receive a major boost with leading scorer Kelsey Plum expected to return for this Wings vs Sparks matchup after missing time with an ankle injury.
Dallas has looked like a completely different team from the one that struggled through 2025. The Wings are averaging nearly 88 points per game and have won three straight entering this matchup. Bueckers is averaging 18.3 points per game while Shepard continues to impact games as one of the league's best rebounding and playmaking forwards.
Los Angeles has the best individual scorer on the floor in Plum, who is averaging 26.8 points and 6.3 assists per game. However, the Sparks have lost consecutive games and scored a season-low 69 points during Plum's recent absence. Even if Plum returns, Dallas appears to have the deeper and more balanced roster right now. The Wings' combination of offensive firepower, rebounding edge, and current form gives them the advantage.
Parlay Odds: +415
Dallas has won three straight and enters with the better overall record. Bueckers has become the primary creator in the Wings' offense and continues to generate quality looks for teammates. Shepard has been a rebounding machine and one of the most productive forwards in the WNBA through the opening weeks. Combining these three selections creates a parlay built around Dallas continuing its strong start thanks to the individual contributors that have helped them get there.
Kelsey Plum Over 19.5 Points
Plum enters the game averaging 26.8 points per contest and remains the focal point of the Sparks offense. Even after missing time with an ankle injury, Los Angeles is expected to lean heavily on her scoring ability against a Dallas defense that prefers an up-tempo style. If Plum receives her normal workload, her usage volume alone makes the over attractive.
Category | Dallas Wings | Los Angeles Sparks |

Rebound % | 51.1% | 49.5% |
Dallas has been one of the most improved teams in the league through the opening month. Bueckers continues to look like an All-WNBA caliber guard, Fudd has quickly become an important contributor, and Shepard gives the Wings a major advantage on the glass. Their balanced attack has produced nearly 88 points per game and helped fuel a three-game winning streak.
The Wings have the top offensive rating in the WNBA early in the season, while the Sparks have been dreadful defensively. That's a dangerous combination for LA here, even with the Sparks at home. I'll take the Wings to get the job done in LA in what could be the most entertaining game of the weekend in the W.
