Prime Sports has been called "America's Sharpest Sportsbook" and is now live in New Jersey and Ohio! But does it live up to the hype? And is worth your time and money? Well, let's find out. In this article, we'll provide an in-depth review of Prime Sportsbook, exploring all that it has to offer and helping you decide if it's a good fit for you!
Honestly, there's a lot to like about the Prime Sportsbook. Competitive odds, fast withdrawals, above-average customer support, and a wide range of betting markets are just a few of the things that my team here at ATS.io really likes about the up-and-coming platform.
But, in our opinion, there's one key aspect that helps set them apart from the competition: they don't limit winning bettors. With guaranteed max bet amounts, winning bettors can continue to enjoy placing their wagers without fear of being restricted or penalized for their success.
That said, Prime Sports is not without any flaws or areas for improvement. No welcome offer for new customers, limited ongoing bonuses and promotions, and a relatively new mobile app with some kinks that need ironing out are some of the drawbacks we've noticed.
As a result, if you're not completely sold on Prime Sportsbook or you live in a state where it's not yet available, then we encourage you to check out our list of the best U.S. sportsbooks in 2026. Here, you should have no problem finding an option that works for you!

Unfortunately, Prime Sports does not currently offer a welcome offer or sign-up bonus to new customers. This means you won't get any deposit matches, first-bet promotions, bet & get promos, or other exciting deals to help you get off to a great start on the app.

I won't lie to you...I was a bit bummed to find out that I would not be getting any extra bonus bets or perks when signing up and getting started. However, I've come to realize that Prime Sportsbook focuses on providing value over the long term with competitive odds, quality lines, and guaranteed max bet amounts.
This means that while you won't get an initial boost with a welcome offer, you can still enjoy a reliable and consistent betting experience on the app.
As you might expect, Prime Sports also doesn't offer much when it comes to ongoing bonuses and promotions for existing customers. This means you won't get to enjoy...
...or any other bonus opportunities that are commonly offered by DraftKings, FanDuel, and other leading sportsbooks in the United States today.
That said, if you're looking for a way to get some more back for your buck, then we've got you covered. Just check out our list of the best sportsbook promos in 2026 to find a deal that works for you!
When it comes to making deposits and withdrawals, Prime Sportsbook has you covered with plenty of safe, secure, and convenient banking options. Here's a quick breakdown of everything you need to know:

Prime Sportsbook currently offers a mobile app for both iOS and Android devices. For this review, I had a chance to test the Prime Sports app out for myself, and I have to say, it's incredibly user-friendly and easy to navigate.
Placing bets is a breeze; you can sort through different sports and leagues effortlessly, or search for specific players or teams you're interested in.
In addition, your account balance is always neatly displayed in the top right corner of your screen, and accessing your betting history and viewing open and settled wagers is just a few taps away.
Making deposits and withdrawals, contacting customer support, and adjusting your account settings are also very easy and intuitive.
My only complaint would be that the app is a bit too simple and has an outdated look; its functionality is great, but it could use a more modern design. Plus, I had a bit of trouble with long loading times. That said, overall, the Prime Sports app provides a solid user experience for bettors on the go.

When it comes to betting options, Prime Sportsbook has you covered with all your favorite sports and leagues and a wide range of bet types. This means you'll always have plenty of choices to make your wagers more exciting and tailored to your preferences.
And the best part? They don't limit successful bettors as many other sports betting apps do. Prime Sports offers guaranteed maximum bet amounts no matter your level of success.
Whether you're a casual bettor or a high roller, you can enjoy the same freedom to bet as much as you want without fear of restrictions. This ensures that you can fully capitalize on your winning streaks and maximize your potential profits without any unnecessary limitations holding you back.
Now, let's take a closer look at the different betting options offered by Prime Sportsbook:

So, no matter what you're into, you should have no problem finding your favorite leagues and events to follow and bet on when using Prime Sportsbook!
In addition, Prime Sportsbook offers all of the most popular types of bets, including...
...and more! Our only complaint would be that their alternate lines and player prop markets are a bit limited compared to some of the competition.
But with competitive odds and guaranteed max bet amounts, the Prime Sports betting app still has plenty to offer and remains a great choice for many bettors.
Safety, security, and fairness are three of the most important factors to consider when you go to choose an online sportsbook in your home state. These aspects ensure that your personal information remains protected and that your betting experience is conducted in a fair and transparent manner.
Fortunately, Prime Sportsbook excels in this crucial category, earning a perfect 5/5-star rating from me and my team. Let us explain why by answering some of the most important questions on the topic!
Yes. Absolutely. 100%. Prime Sports is a legitimate online sportsbook that is licensed to operate in both Ohio and New Jersey. The platform is fully compliant with state regulations and undergoes regular audits to ensure fairness and transparency in its operations.
With a solid reputation for reliability, security, and customer satisfaction, Prime Sportsbook is a trustworthy and reputable option for sports bettors in these two states (and hopefully more in the years to come!).
Prime Sports is owned by Out The Gate, Inc., a registered Delaware C-Corporation. The company is a multichannel game operator that offers real-money games in the sports betting, casino, racing, and daily fantasy sports industries, and they are headquartered in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
Prime Sportsbook is currently legal in just two U.S. states:
The sports betting operator is licensed by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement and the Ohio Casino Control Commission.
In other words, they are authorized to offer real-money wagering on sporting events to anyone who is physically located in these states and meets the minimum age requirement (21+ years old).
It's also worth noting that Prime Sports has announced that they are "Coming Soon" to Kentucky, and there's a good chance the sports betting operator will look to continue expanding throughout the United States if they are successful and opportunities present themselves.
When it comes to customer service and support, Prime Sportsbook excels with a 4/5 rating from me and my team!
They currently offer assistance via email (support@primesports.com), live chat, and through a comprehensive FAQ page, ensuring that customers have multiple avenues to address their queries and concerns.
During this review, I had a chance to reach out to Prime Sports customer support via live chat...and I am happy to report that they answered quickly (within just a few minutes) and were able to answer all of my questions quickly and effectively.
It's also worth noting that their website mentions "Phone Support" for customer service, but I was unable to find a specific number to contact. That said, we'll be sure to provide you with any updates should Prime Sportsbook introduce a phone support option at some point in the future.
Now that you've learned all about Prime Sportsbook, are you wondering how it stacks up against the competition? Well, let's find out!
Here's a quick breakdown of how the Prime Sports betting app compares to some of the most popular online sportsbooks in the United States today:
DraftKings is one of the biggest names in the American sports betting industry, and it holds a few key advantages over Prime Sports. First, unlike Prime, DraftKings consistently offers a huge sign-up bonus to new users, typically in the form of first-bet promos, or a generous Bet & Get promotion.
In addition, DraftKings Sportsbook has a major edge when it comes to providing a wider range of alternate lines and player prop markets, which can appeal to bettors looking for more diverse betting options.
As a result, Ohio and New Jersey bettors may find DraftKings to be the more attractive option for its exciting bonuses and wide range of betting options.
FanDuel is another household name when it comes to online sports betting in the United States. Although Prime Sportsbook deserves credit for not limiting successful bettors, FanDuel seems to have them beat in most other important areas.
For starters, FanDuel Sportsbook has tons of everyday bonuses for existing users, including no-sweat bets, odds boosts, same-game parlay offers, and much more. This helps add extra excitement and value to the betting experience.
Plus, FanDuel has what many consider to be the best mobile app in the industry, making it incredibly easy to place bets and manage accounts while on the go!
Last but not least, bet365 is one of the fastest-growing betting apps in the U.S. today, and it's easy to see why!
Like DraftKings and FanDuel (but unlike Prime Sports), bet365 goes out of its way to welcome new users with a generous welcome offer. This typically comes in the form of extra bonus funds, second-chance bets, or other enticing promotions.
Additionally, bet365 Sportsbook has Prime beat when it comes to reputation; bet365 has been around longer and has established itself as a trusted and reputable name in the sports betting industry worldwide.
