Of course, DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbook are the two biggest names when it comes to online sports betting in the U.S., but they’re not the only options out there.
If you’re looking for something different—maybe better odds, unique features, or new sign-up bonuses to take advantage of—you’ve got plenty of choices.
In this guide, I’ll introduce you to three underrated sportsbooks that might just be the perfect alternative to FanDuel and DraftKings. Whether you’re looking to switch things up or just want a solid backup, these betting apps are definitely worth checking out. Let's dive right in!
If you’re looking for a sportsbook that delivers serious value, bet365 is a great option. Originally founded in the U.K., bet365 has become one of the fastest-growing sportsbooks in the U.S., offering competitive odds, innovative features, and a smooth betting experience.
One of the biggest reasons to consider bet365 is the extra value they bring to bettors. With Super Boosts, Early Payouts, and Refer A Friend bonuses, there are plenty of promotions to take advantage of.
They also offer live streaming of hundreds of thousands of sporting events each year, letting you watch and bet on top soccer leagues, basketball games, and more—all from one platform.
Another standout feature is Same Game Parlay+, which allows you to combine multiple markets from select events into a single bet. Plus, with "Cash Out" and "Partial Cash Out" options, you can secure winnings or minimize losses before the event even ends.
With a strong global reputation, top-tier promotions, and one of the best live betting experiences around, bet365 is a great alternative to DraftKings and FanDuel—especially for bettors who love flexibility, live action, and great odds.
Next, Fanatics Sportsbook is one of the newest options in the U.S. sports betting market, but it’s already delivering a top-tier experience. With a clean, user-friendly interface and a focus on rewarding its players, it stands out as a great alternative to industry giants like DraftKings and FanDuel.
One of the biggest reasons to consider Fanatics Sportsbook is its rewards program, which gives you up to 10% back on every wager—win or lose—in FanCash.
You can redeem FanCash for bonus bets or use it to buy jerseys, hats, and other gear at Fanatics.com, making it one of the best loyalty programs in sports betting.
Fanatics also offers real-time odds on a wide range of sports, including NFL, NCAA football, NBA, NHL, PGA, soccer, tennis, UFC, boxing, and motorsports.
Plus, their Discover page makes it easy to find bets that match your interests, featuring top picks, trending wagers, exclusive promos, prebuilt parlays, and Same Game Parlays (SGPs) all in one place.
Another advantage of betting with Fanatics is its fast and reliable withdrawals. They also offer a Withdrawal Tracker tool, so you can easily monitor the status of your payouts in real time.
Overall, Fanatics Sportsbook is a great alternative to DraftKings and FanDuel—especially for bettors who want extra value and rewards with every bet.
Coming in at No. 3 on my list is BetMGM!
This platform is another popular choice in the U.S. sports betting world, and it makes for a great alternative to DraftKings or FanDuel. With the backing of MGM Resorts, BetMGM offers competitive odds, a wide variety of sports, and a loyalty rewards program that gives bettors even more value.
One of the things that sets BetMGM apart is its extensive sports coverage. Along with all the most popular American leagues like the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and MLS, you’ll find betting options for college sports and niche events such as cricket, rugby, darts, and lacrosse.
Plus, there are options for MMA, UFC, Formula 1, NASCAR, WNBA, tennis, and PGA Tour golf, ensuring that no matter what sport you’re into, you’ll find something to bet on.
BetMGM Sportsbook also gives bettors a lot of options when it comes to the types of wagers offered. Whether you like moneylines, spreads, Same Game Parlays, player props, alternate lines, or live betting, BetMGM has you covered!
The BetMGM Rewards program is another standout feature. You earn points on every wager you make, which can be redeemed for bonus bets, digital rewards, or even real-world experiences at MGM Resorts destinations.
All in all, BetMGM is a great all-around sportsbook with a wide range of sports to bet on, plenty of betting options, and an industry-leading rewards program. If you’re looking for something different from DraftKings and FanDuel, BetMGM is definitely worth a look!
DraftKings and FanDuel are undoubtedly the two most popular sportsbooks in the USA, and they’ve earned their place at the top. However, there are plenty of other options worth considering.
bet365, Fanatics, and BetMGM, for example, are a few other betting apps that deserve your attention. They offer competitive odds, exciting promotions, and all your favorite features (same-game parlays, live streaming of events, and so much more!).
If you’re looking for a change of pace or just want to try something new, these options might be worth exploring. It’s always a good idea to see what else is out there and find the sportsbook that works best for you. Good luck with your bets!
While Fliff didn’t quite make my top 3 list of the best alternatives to DraftKings and FanDuel, it’s still worth mentioning due to its unique approach.
Unlike the other sports betting apps on this list, Fliff Sportsbook uses an innovative sweepstakes model, which allows it to operate legally in states like California, Texas, and many others where traditional online sports betting is not yet available.
Fliff lets you place wagers on a wide range of sporting events using "Fliff Coins" for fun and "Fliff Cash" for a chance to win real cash prizes. Plus, Fliff offers regular promotions (such as daily and weekly challenges), a user-friendly mobile app, and top-notch customer support.
While it doesn’t provide the same experience as traditional sportsbooks, it’s a fun, legal alternative for people in states with stricter sports betting laws. Read our full Fliff Review.
