The Vegas Golden Knights visit the Boston Bruins on Monday, November 2, with two of the NHL's stronger early-season teams going head-to-head. Jack Eichel and David Pastrnak will attract plenty of attention, but I'm particularly interested in Mitch Marner's assist production.
Marner has recorded 13 assists in 13 games this season and enters Monday riding a nine-game point streak. His playmaking has been remarkably consistent, and Boston's penalty kill could provide another opportunity.
Kalshi previously listed Marner's 1+ assist YES contract at 52¢. Given his recent production and role on Vegas's first power-play unit, I see some value at that price.

Marner has been one of Vegas's most productive players through the opening month. His 13 assists are tied with Jack Eichel for the team lead, and he's contributed 11 assists over his last 10 appearances.
The interesting part is how little Vegas has needed him to score. Marner has just two goals this season, but his passing has helped keep the Golden Knights dangerous offensively.
He's expected to skate alongside William Karlsson at even strength while continuing to feature on the first power-play unit with Eichel, Mark Stone, and Tomas Hertl.
That combination offers plenty of opportunities to collect an assist, particularly with Stone already scoring nine goals this season.
The Bruins enter Monday at 10-4-1 following Saturday's 5-4 overtime victory against Chicago. They've been particularly effective at TD Garden, winning five of their first six home games.
Boston is allowing just 2.37 goals per game, so this isn't an easy matchup for Vegas.
However, the Bruins have killed only 76.9% of opposing power plays this season. That's a potential weakness against a Golden Knights power play converting at 27.3%.
Vegas also has enough offensive depth to create opportunities at even strength. Eichel leads the team with 20 points, while Stone has 17, giving Marner several dangerous teammates to work with.
Boston's defensive record deserves respect, but I wouldn't dismiss an assist market simply because the Bruins have been winning games.
Kalshi's previously observed 52¢ YES price puts Marner's implied probability at approximately 52%, before fees.
My estimated probability is slightly higher, around 55–59%, based on his current production, offensive role, and power-play opportunities.
That's a relatively modest advantage, but enough to make the contract interesting.
Marner's 2+ assists YES contract was also available at 17¢. It's an appealing alternative for anyone expecting a particularly productive night, although I prefer the more achievable single-assist threshold.
There's one important concern: Boston's goaltending has been excellent. Jeremy Swayman and Michael DiPietro have both started the season strongly, and Vegas could find scoring opportunities harder to convert than usual.
That's why I'm keeping the entry threshold at 52¢ rather than chasing a higher price.
Marner is my preferred selection, but several other Kalshi markets deserve consideration.
David Pastrnak — 1+ Goal YES (39¢)
Pastrnak has eight goals and 19 points in 15 games, continuing to drive Boston's offense. Vegas has struggled badly on the penalty kill, successfully defending just 69.4% of opposing power plays.
At 39¢, his goal market is interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if Pastrnak finds the scoresheet again, although his single-goal probability is less convincing to me than Marner's chances of recording an assist.
Charlie McAvoy — 1+ Assist YES (47¢)
McAvoy is another player worth monitoring, particularly because of his role on Boston's first power-play unit.
Vegas's defensive problems while shorthanded create opportunities for Boston's offensive defensemen. At 47¢, however, I'd want a little more room between the market price and my estimated probability before making McAvoy the featured selection.
Jack Eichel — 2+ Points YES
Eichel has seven goals and 13 assists through 15 games, making him Vegas's leading scorer entering Monday.
He's capable of producing multiple points against any opponent, particularly alongside Stone on the first line. His 2+ points contract is worth comparing, although the entry price will determine whether it offers genuine value.
For now, Marner provides the combination I prefer: consistent production, favorable power-play usage, and a reasonable entry threshold.
