Senators vs Golden Knights Player Props: Stützle Takes Aim at Slumping Vegas

Updated October 27, 2026

Three consecutive defeats, 14 goals conceded, and a defense that suddenly looks vulnerable. Things have gone south rather quickly for the Vegas Golden Knights, and Tim Stützle might be the last player they want to face right now.
The Ottawa Senators visit T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday, October 27, looking to build on Saturday's impressive 7-4 victory over the New York Rangers.
Vegas, meanwhile, returns home after consecutive road defeats against St. Louis and Columbus. The Golden Knights remain one of the Western Conference's stronger teams, but their recent performances have been concerning.
Stützle has registered 16 points through 12 appearances, finding the scoresheet in all but two games.
At 63¢ to record another point, he's the player I'm most interested in tonight.
Stützle has recorded a point in 10 of Ottawa's first 12 games. Vegas has conceded 14 goals during its three-game losing streak, creating an interesting opportunity for the Senators forward.

Vegas opened the season with eight victories in its first ten games, but that early momentum has disappeared.
The Golden Knights have now lost three straight, beginning with a 6-2 defeat against Tampa Bay on October 20.
Another 6-2 loss followed against St. Louis before Saturday's disappointing 2-1 overtime defeat in Columbus.
That's 14 goals conceded across three games, although the latest performance was considerably better defensively.
Jack Eichel and Mark Stone remain the obvious offensive threats. Eichel leads Vegas with 19 points, while Stone has contributed eight goals and seven assists.
Mitch Marner missed the previous two games for personal reasons, although his return would provide another significant boost to the Golden Knights.
Ottawa has been somewhat inconsistent itself, alternating between impressive victories and frustrating defeats.
Saturday's 7-4 victory against the Rangers was particularly encouraging.
Drake Batherson scored three goals and added an assist, while Jake Sanderson contributed a goal and two assists.
Stützle also scored, extending his goal-scoring streak to three games.
The Senators remain without goaltender Linus Ullmark and defenseman Thomas Chabot. However, Sanderson's recent return has strengthened Ottawa's defensive options considerably.
Stützle has accumulated eight goals and eight assists through 12 games, registering at least one point in 10 appearances.
He's also recorded multiple points five times.
Those are impressive numbers, particularly considering Ottawa hasn't been especially consistent offensively.
The 24-year-old has contributed a point in each of his previous four games, including goals against Florida, San Jose, and the Rangers.
He's also averaging more than 21 minutes of ice time and continues to play an important role in virtually every situation.
Stützle has been skating alongside Fabian Zetterlund and Claude Giroux at even strength, while also featuring prominently on Ottawa's first power-play unit.
His goal-scoring rate is probably unsustainable. Eight goals from 24 shots represents an extraordinary conversion rate, and I wouldn't expect that to continue indefinitely.
That's one reason I prefer his points market.
Stützle doesn't necessarily need to score himself. He's an accomplished playmaker, and his involvement in Ottawa's offense gives him several ways to contribute.
Vegas has conceded six goals in two of its previous three games, and although the Golden Knights are capable of shutting opponents down, I don't think their defensive problems have suddenly disappeared.
At 63¢, Stützle's 1+ point contract is worth considering.
Tim Stützle — 1+ Point
Polymarket US has Stützle at 63¢ to record at least one point.
He's achieved that in 10 of Ottawa's first 12 games, including each of his previous four appearances.
Vegas is obviously capable of responding after three consecutive defeats, but its recent defensive performances leave plenty of questions.
I particularly like that Stützle doesn't need to rely exclusively on his shooting to deliver. He's contributing as both a scorer and a playmaker, which makes the points market more attractive than his 1+ goal contract at 34¢.
This is my preferred selection.
Jack Eichel — 2+ Points
Eichel has been Vegas' most productive offensive player, registering six goals and 13 assists through 13 games.
He's recorded multiple points six times this season, giving us an interesting comparison with his 39¢ market price.
There are reasons to like his chances against Ottawa.
The Senators are missing Ullmark, their outstanding starting goaltender, while Eichel continues to operate alongside Stone on Vegas' top line.
However, there's a concern.
Eichel hasn't recorded multiple points in any of the Golden Knights' previous three games, and Vegas' recent offensive struggles have been difficult to ignore.
At 39¢, I can see the appeal, but this is a more aggressive position than Stützle recording a single point.
Mark Stone — 1+ Goal
Stone has scored eight goals in 13 games, including six separate appearances with at least one goal.
His 1+ goal market is available at 36¢.
That's interesting considering Ottawa's goaltending situation and Vegas' need to respond after three consecutive defeats.
Stone also plays alongside Eichel, one of the NHL's better playmakers.
My hesitation is his shooting volume.
Stone has registered only 26 shots through 13 games, and three of his eight goals came in one appearance against Calgary.
He's certainly capable of scoring against Ottawa, but I wouldn't expect his current finishing rate to continue throughout the season.
Of the three selections, Stützle remains my favorite.
