Ducks vs Oilers Player Props: McDavid 2+ Assists

Connor McDavid to record 2+ assists at 34¢ YES on Kalshi is my preferred player prop for Thursday's Anaheim Ducks vs Edmonton Oilers matchup.
There's a little more to this game than another opportunity for McDavid to extend his historic assist streak. Anaheim eliminated Edmonton from the Stanley Cup Playoffs last spring, and the Oilers haven't forgotten.
McDavid already recorded two assists against the Ducks in October. With 31 assists through 16 games this season, there's a reasonable case for another multi-assist performance.
Anaheim Ducks vs Edmonton Oilers · November 5, 2026
McDavid has recorded multiple assists in 9 of 16 games, including Edmonton's previous meeting with Anaheim. The Ducks have allowed 3.8 goals per game, making the 34¢ YES price particularly interesting.

The Ducks delivered one of the biggest surprises of the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs, eliminating the Oilers in six games.
Anaheim clinched the first-round series with a 5-2 victory on April 30, ending Edmonton's hopes of reaching a third consecutive Stanley Cup Final.
Edmonton got some revenge on October 7, defeating Anaheim 5-2 after scoring five unanswered goals. McDavid finished with one goal and two assists, while Leon Draisaitl contributed four assists.
Now the Ducks return to Edmonton, and there's no shortage of motivation on either side.
Of course, revenge doesn't guarantee anything statistically. But the previous meeting provides something more useful than a storyline: evidence that Edmonton's top players can generate plenty of offense against this opponent.
McDavid has recorded 31 assists in 16 games, extending his NHL-record season-opening assist streak to 16 appearances.
More importantly for this particular market, he's recorded multiple assists in nine of those 16 games.
That's a 56% hit rate, considerably higher than the probability reflected in Kalshi's current price.
There is some reason for caution. McDavid has finished with exactly one assist in three consecutive games, and he's cleared the 2+ threshold just once in his last five appearances.
Still, his overall production remains extraordinary. His ability to create opportunities for Draisaitl, Evan Bouchard, and Edmonton's other finishers makes him a constant threat to record multiple helpers.
Anaheim has allowed 57 goals through 15 games, averaging 3.8 goals against per appearance.
That's a concerning defensive record heading into Edmonton, particularly against a player producing nearly two assists per game.
At 34¢ YES, McDavid's contract carries a relatively modest entry cost compared with his early-season production.
I wouldn't project another 56% hit rate indefinitely. Sixteen games is a small sample, and multiple assists remain difficult to predict consistently.
However, my estimated probability of 46–50% suggests there's potentially meaningful value at the current price, even after allowing for some regression.
The key is not chasing the market higher.
