Tampa Bay enters this game with positive momentum. The Lightning have won their last three games, and are 7–3 in their past 10 overall, averaging about 3.5 goals per game in that stretch. Meanwhile, Philadelphia is coming off a statement win: they exploded for three goals in just 26 seconds during a 6–3 home victory over New Jersey. Both teams are playing at a high level of late, but only one of them can get the win in this contest.
Tampa Bay will likely look to Andrei Vasilevskiy to steady them between the pipes. He has historically played well against Philadelphia, owning a 15–4–1 record with a .933 save rate in his career against the Flyers. Philadelphia's Daniel Vladar has been getting time, currently posting a 2.42 goals-against average with a .912 save percentage.

Tampa Bay should be able to pick up a win on home ice in this contest. The Lightning have allowed a total of five goals over their last three games. Their defense should help them to get a victory in this contest against a Flyers team that has struggled to string together goals on a consistent basis.
