Indiana enters as the betting favorite and will try to come back from the All-Star break with a win, while Washington looks for a much-needed home win to snap a lengthy skid. Key Players
Washington Wizards Key Players
- Trae Young: The newly acquired All-Star guard is set to miss this game due to a knee injury and the Wizards will have to make up for his absence here.
- Kyshawn George: George is averaging around 15 points per game, and makes contributions on the glass as well. He will be incredibly important with both Young and Alex Sarr out for this contest.
- Bub Carrington: Provides scoring and solid assist numbers for a Wizards team that lacks consistent talent around him.
- Tre Johnson: Young guard averaging about 13 points per contest this season.
- Bilal Coulibaly: Valuable role player who helps out on the glass and can score at the rim and from the perimeter.
Indiana Pacers Key Players
- Pascal Siakam: Siakam is the team’s leading scorer at 23.7 points per game, but he is also out for this game, which is a huge blow to the team's chances of winning.
- Andrew Nembhard: Scorer and floor facilitator with double-digit point totals and strong assist figures.
- Jarace Walker: Young forward making an impact with both scoring and rebounding.
- T.J. McConnell: Veteran guard providing floor leadership and efficient offense when on the court. He is questionable to compete in this contest with a hamstring injury.

Final Thoughts
The Pacers being without Siakam for this game is a huge blow. But players like Nembhard and Jay Huff should be able to help them fill the void left by their best remaining player. I'll lay the points with the Pacers here, which is more of a fade of the Wizards than it is an endorsement of anything that the Pacers have going for them right now.
