Brewers vs Dodgers Game 3 Win Probability & Market Pricing

Updated October 14, 2026

The Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers meet in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series on Wednesday, October 14, with first pitch set for 8:00 p.m. ET at Dodger Stadium.
Rather than taking a position on the winner or total runs scored, we think the best value for Game 3 is in the player prop market. Below, we break down why we like Teoscar Hernández to record 2+ combined hits, runs, and RBIs, along with the key stats and matchups behind our prediction.
Our Model Sees Value at 51¢
Teoscar Hernández 2+ H+R+RBI is currently trading at 51¢ on Polymarket, while our model gives it a 55.8% chance of hitting. That creates a 4.8% edge at the current price, with our model recommending buying up to 54¢.
Hernández's Success Against Left-Handed Pitching
Hernández hit .303 with a .392 wOBA, .907 OPS, and seven home runs in 153 plate appearances against lefties this season. He also struck out just 22.2% of the time in those matchups, compared to 29.9% against righties, giving him a favorable matchup against Milwaukee's Robert Gasser.
Gasser Doesn't Miss Many Bats
Gasser posted a 22.2% strikeout rate and 4.14 SIERA this season. He also allowed a .765 OPS to right-handed hitters, compared to just .552 against lefties. Hernández can be strikeout-prone, but Gasser's profile should give him opportunities to put the ball in play.

Why Our Model Sees Value:

“The Dodgers are down 2-0 in the series and need their offense to come alive back at home. Hernández is expected to bat third again tonight, putting him in a good spot to drive in runs and potentially score himself. He's also already homered off Gasser this season, and I like his chances of reaching 2+ combined hits, runs, and RBIs in this matchup.”
Hernández has had an up-and-down postseason, batting .217 with five hits, one home run, three runs scored, and three RBIs through six games. His .556 OPS isn't particularly impressive, but he's tied for second on the Dodgers in runs scored and RBIs.
He got off to a good start against Atlanta in the NLDS, going 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs in Game 1. After struggling over the next few games, Hernández recorded two hits in Game 1 against Milwaukee, which helped earn him a move up to third in the batting order for Game 2.
The Dodgers' lineup has struggled overall, with Shohei Ohtani batting just .150 and Will Smith hitting .043 this postseason. Hernández hasn't been especially consistent either, but his five hits are tied with Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, and Andy Pages, while only Kyle Tucker has more with six.
Gasser uses a five-pitch mix, led by his sweeper (25.3%), four-seam fastball (23.2%), and sinker (22.6%). His sweeper has been effective, holding opponents to a .204 batting average and .249 xwOBA this season. However, his sinker (.377 xwOBA) and cutter (.395 xwOBA) have been more vulnerable.
Hernández has already had success against Gasser, going 4-for-7 (.571) with a home run and two walks in nine career plate appearances. That includes a three-run homer off an 82.8 mph sweeper on May 23, when Gasser allowed four earned runs in an 11-3 Dodgers victory.
Gasser has pitched better lately (1.73 ERA over his last seven appearances), but Hernández has already shown he can handle his sweeper. His sinker and cutter could also give Hernández opportunities to make solid contact and help him reach 2+ combined hits, runs, and RBIs.
As we noted in our Dodgers vs Brewers NLCS series preview, Milwaukee's bullpen has been outstanding this postseason, posting a 0.31 ERA across 28 2/3 innings, with just one earned run allowed through six games. That success has carried over to the NLCS, where Brewers relievers have allowed just two hits and three walks in 9 2/3 innings against Los Angeles.
In Game 2, Milwaukee's bullpen retired all 15 Dodgers hitters it faced, striking out seven over five perfect innings. Abner Uribe and Aaron Ashby have been particularly effective, appearing in six and five postseason games, respectively, without allowing an earned run.
That could make things difficult for Hernández if he doesn't produce against Gasser early. Milwaukee has shown it can shut down the Dodgers' lineup late in games, so his first few plate appearances could be especially important to our 2+ H+R+RBI prediction.
