By giving players an opportunity to buy and sell shares of athletes before and during live games, offering the fan-favorite "Pick'em Contests" that have become so popular in recent years, and covering a wide range of sports and leagues from all over the world, Jock MKT stands out as a solid option in the competitive fantasy gaming industry.
However, if you live in a state or where Jock MKT is not yet available or you're looking for a more traditional DFS experience, then we encourage you to check out DraftKings. When you sign up with DraftKings today, you can claim a deposit-match bonus of up to $500 through our exclusive ATS.io offer!

Pros
Cons
Jock MKT is a daily fantasy sports app that was first launched in September 2020 as a way for sports enthusiasts to engage with their favorite players and teams in a whole new dimension.
The platform allows users to buy and sell shares of athletes in real time and combines elements of traditional fantasy sports with stock market trading, where the value of athletes' shares fluctuates based on their performance during games.
This unique approach to fantasy sports introduces a dynamic and interactive element that sets Jock MKT apart from traditional fantasy sports games. Users can build portfolios of athletes from various sports, including football, basketball, baseball, and more, and make trading decisions based on their performance expectations.
The concept is to buy low and sell high, just like in the stock market, but in this case, you're trading athletes instead of stocks. Jock MKT provides sports fans with an exciting way to not only support their favorite athletes and teams but also test their sports knowledge and strategic trading skills.
It adds an extra layer of excitement to watching live games and offers the potential for users to profit based on the real-time performance of the athletes they invest in. Continue reading as we further explore this innovative platform and all it has to offer!

Jock MKT offers four different types of games: Markets, Pick'em, Contests, and Jockpot. Let's take a closer look at each option and how they work.
Jock MKT Market events are dynamic and engaging contests that revolve around real-time athlete performance. These events allow participants to buy and sell shares of players before and during live games, and they are divided into three key phases: IPO, Live Trading, and Final Results.
Pick'em Contests are also quite popular on the Jock MKT daily fantasy sports app. They combine two of the most popular types of sports wagers (prop bets and parlays) and add an exciting twist to the traditional fantasy sports experience.
In these contests, you'll build a lineup of between 2 and 5 player props and then decide whether each athlete will surpass ("More") or fall short of ("Less") their projected total for a given statistic. If all of your More/Less picks are correct, then you'll receive a payout based on the total number of selections included in your entry.
A protection option (referred to as "Partial Lock" entries, while standard entries are known as "Mortal Lock" entries) is also available, which allows you to play it safe and earn a reduced payout if one or more of your picks happens to be unsuccessful. Here's a full breakdown of the payouts offered in Jock MKT Pick'em Contests:
Number of Picks Made | Number of Picks Correct | Mortal Lock Payout | Partial Lock Payout |
5 | 5 | 15x Entry Fee | 10x Entry Fee |
5 | 4 | None | 2x Entry Fee |
5 | 3 | None | 0.40x Entry Fee |
4 | 4 | 10x Entry Fee | 5x Entry Fee |
4 | 3 | None | 1.50x Entry Fee |
3 | 3 | 6x Entry Fee | 2.25x Entry Fee |
3 | 2 | None | 1.25x Entry Fee |
2 | 2 | 3x Entry Fee | N/A |
2 | 1 | None | N/A |
*Note: The Partial Lock option is not available for entries consisting of only two player prop selections.
Jock MKT Contests are very similar to Market events; however, instead of using real money to purchase shares of a player, you'll be given a predetermined number of chips that can be used to buy shares. The shares you buy will be paid out based on how the player finishes in the final rankings of the event (based on fantasy points scored), and the users with the highest payouts will win the contest's top prizes.
Lastly, Jockpot Contests run daily and allow players to submit a lineup of 11 More/Less picks for a $5.00 entry fee in order to have a chance to win the progressive "Jockpot" prize and other exciting rewards.
Just like in Pick'em Contests, participants are presented with a set of player-related propositions, and they will make predictions based on whether a player's performance will exceed (More) or fall short of (Less) a projected statistical category (passing yards, assists, goals, etc.) or fantasy point threshold.
Participants will then receive the following prizes based on their correct number of selections:
The progressive "Jockpot" prize is initially set at $5,000.00 and grows each day that there is no Jockpot winner. If multiple players were to finish with 11 correct picks, then the Jockpot prize would be divided evenly between all winners. It's also worth noting that a maximum of five entries per user is allowed for a single Jockpot Contest.
Jock MKT offers a wide variety of sports and leagues, ensuring there's something for every type of fan. Here's a list of the different options you can expect to find on the Jock MKT DFS app:

If you're considering Jock MKT as your go-to daily fantasy sports app, then you may first be interested in learning how it stacks up against the competition. Well, let's take a look. Here's a breakdown of how Jock MKT compares to other DFS sites and apps on the market today:
FanDuel stands out in the daily fantasy sports scene with over a decade of experience, earning a stellar reputation and offering a user-friendly platform with a variety of contests. Their awesome player rewards program adds an extra layer of appeal, making them a go-to for many fantasy sports enthusiasts.
In contrast, Jock MKT brings a cool and innovative twist to the game by turning it into a stock market-like experience. This unique approach lets you buy and sell shares of athletes in real-time, adding a whole new level of strategy and excitement.
So, while FanDuel's years in the game and reputation give them a strong edge, Jock MKT offers a fresh and dynamic alternative for those looking to spice up their fantasy sports experience.
Both Jock MKT and Underdog Fantasy have gained attention for incorporating Pick'em contests, a popular format in recent years. However, Underdog Fantasy stands out with its unique offerings like Best Ball and Battle Royale contests.
These formats are notably more beginner-friendly and simpler compared to Jock MKT's Markets, where users trade shares of athletes like a stock market. Underdog Fantasy's Best Ball and Battle Royale cater to those seeking a straightforward and approachable fantasy sports experience.
Ultimately, the choice between the two platforms depends on personal preferences – whether users prefer the simplicity of Underdog Fantasy's contests or the strategic depth of Jock MKT's stock market-inspired approach to fantasy sports trading.
Jock MKT and OwnersBox Fantasy offer distinct approaches to daily fantasy sports (DFS). OwnersBox leans towards a more traditional DFS format, where users draft lineups and manage salary caps. Their platform is complemented by a generous sign-up bonus for new users and a highly regarded, user-friendly mobile app, enhancing the overall experience.
On the other hand, Jock MKT stands out for its innovation, introducing unique contests and adopting a stock market-inspired model for trading shares of athletes in real-time. Additionally, Jock MKT covers a broad spectrum of sports and leagues, providing a diverse range of options for fans.
The choice between the two platforms may depend on user preferences, with OwnersBox appealing to those who favor a traditional DFS setup, while Jock MKT caters to those seeking a more innovative and diverse fantasy sports experience.
