The Kennesaw State Owls will face the Jacksonville State Gamecocks in the 2025 Conference USA Championship Game on Friday night. Both teams have proven themselves this season by going 7-1 in conference play. The Gamecocks have home-field advantage, but they are slight underdogs to the surprising Owls squad. Before kickoff in the CUSA title game, you will find my Kennesaw State vs Jacksonville State prediction right here.

For Kennesaw State, quarterback Amari Odom has thrown for over 2,100 yards this season with 17 touchdown passes against 6 interceptions. His connection with top receiver Gabriel Benyard has been a bright spot all year. Benyard has 9 touchdown catches this year and will try to make some big plays here. Still, pressure from Jacksonville State’s front could disrupt his timing and force turnovers.
On the Jacksonville State side, Caden Creel has been effective enough passing. But the real threat from their offense comes via the rushing attack. Jax State running back Cam Cook has piled up more than 1,500 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground. The Owls need to key in on the run if they want to win this contest.
Score Projection: Kennesaw State 34 – Jacksonville State 27
Win Probability: Kennesaw State 52%, Jacksonville State 48%
Jax State was outgained by over 100 yards the first time these teams played this season, but the Gamecocks were bailed out by four Owl turnovers. As long as Kennesaw State doesn't turn the ball over endlessly again in this game, they should have enough success on offense to get the job done here. I'll take Kennesaw State to win their first Conference USA title and to cover the number here.
