The return of Ivy League competition on Saturday includes the Princeton Tigers (6‑11, 2‑0 Ivy) visiting the Harvard Crimson (8‑8, 1‑1 Ivy) on Saturday afternoon at Lavietes Pavilion in Cambridge. After a lopsided win over Columbia in their most recent outing, Harvard will look to assert home‑court advantage against a Princeton squad that is off to a promising start in Ivy League play. Here, I take a closer look at this matchup and give you my Princeton vs Harvard prediction.
Pick: | Harvard -4.5 ATS PRO |
Confidence: | 3/5 |
Score Projection: Princeton 69 – Harvard 75 ATS PRO
Win Probability: Princeton 45%, Harvard 55% ATS PRO
My best bet for this huge Ivy League game is for Harvard to win and cover the spread as a slight favorite on their home floor. Princeton is 0-6 away from home so far this season in men's basketball. And while Harvard has had its own issues with consistency throughout the year, I do think that Princeton's road woes will be too much for them to overcome in what could be a preview of this year's Ivy League championship game in March.
