Resorts World Bet NY Promo Code & Sign Up Bonus – Rating 4/5

One thing I really like about Resorts World Bet is the unique and exciting welcome offer they provide to all new users. When you sign up today and place your first bet of $50 or more, you'll automatically receive a free stay at Resorts World Catskills regardless of the outcome.

That's right! Win or lose, you are guaranteed a complimentary room at one of New York's most popular casino resorts. I have to admit this is the first time I've come across this type of new player promotion, and it really makes the Resorts World Sportsbook stand out among all of the top NY betting sites.

Ongoing Bonuses & Promotions

In addition to their generous sign-up bonus, Resorts World Bet offers plenty of ongoing bonuses and promotions to everyday bettors. Here are a few interesting opportunities that you might want to take advantage of:

• Shot Taker Tuesday (NBA): Every Tuesday, when you place a $50+ wager, you'll receive $1 in bonus bets for every three-pointer the team you wagered on makes. (Hint: You may want to bet on the Boston Celtics or Golden State Warriors).
• Goal Scorer Wednesday (NHL): Every Wednesday, when you place a $50+ wager on an eligible game, you'll receive $2 in bonus bets for every goal scored by your team.
• Same Game Parlay Boosters: Each day, you'll receive 1 payout boost on a traditional parlay and one payout boost on a same-game parlay. You'll just need to build a parlay with 3 or more legs and tap on the Lightning Icon (to activate the booster token) when you go to place your bet.
• TKO Protection (MMA): When you place a bet on a fighter to win on UFC Fight Night, you'll get a 100% refund of up to $25 in bonus bets if the fighter is knocked out and loses the fight via TKO.

Banking Options – Rating 4/5

When it comes to banking, Resorts World Bet offers a wide range of safe, secure, and convenient options for users. Here's a quick breakdown of everything you need to know about making deposits and withdrawals with the sportsbook:

Deposits

If you'd like to add funds to your account, you'll have five different payment methods to choose from: Trustly online banking, ACH/eCheck, debit card, PayPal, or PayNearMe.

The minimum deposit amount is set at just $5, and all deposits will be instantly processed and credited to the player's account.

Withdrawals

On the other hand, when you're ready to cash out your winnings, you'll have three main choices: online banking, PayPal, and ACH/eCheck.

Resorts World Bet typically processes withdrawal requests within 1-2 business days, and the clearing time will depend on which cash-out method you choose.

ACH/eCheck and online bank transfers are usually delivered in 1-3 business days. Meanwhile, PayPal withdrawals will often hit your account within 30 minutes once they are processed.

Mobile App & User Experience – Rating 3/5

Resorts World Bet Sportsbook currently provides a mobile app for both iOS and Android devices. I recently had an opportunity to test it out firsthand on my iPhone, and I found it to be very user-friendly.

It offers easy navigation with tabs for viewing open and settled wagers, searching for sports and events, creating "Quick Parlays" (with moneylines, spreads, and totals), and finding live betting opportunities.

Plus, deposits and withdrawals are straightforward and can be completed within the app with just a few taps.

However, my main issue with the Resorts World Bet app is its outdated design. Although it works smoothly, a fresher look would make it more enjoyable to use.

In addition, many users have complained about the app's slow loading times and mentioned problems they've had with the platform's location detection services, which sometimes struggle to accurately pinpoint their whereabouts.

Despite these issues, my overall experience was positive. I found the Resorts World Bet mobile app to be a convenient option for betting on the go, and it's earned a solid 3/5 rating from me and my team.

Resorts World Bet App Ratings From Everyday Users

Resorts World Sportsbook Betting Options – Rating 4/5

I have to admit I was a bit surprised by the solid selection of betting markets available on the Resorts World Bet app. In my experience with single-state sportsbooks (or betting sites with a smaller user base), the options are usually very underwhelming.

Therefore, it's clear that Resorts World Bet deserves some credit in this particular category. However, it's also easy to see that the sports betting app is still a little ways behind industry leaders like DraftKings and FanDuel when it comes to alternate lines, player props, and live betting options.

Let's go ahead and take a quick look at the different markets covered as well as the type of bets offered:

Sports & Leagues Covered

As you can see, the Resorts World Sportsbook covers all of the most popular American sports and leagues, such as the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, college basketball, and college football.

In addition, they offer betting markets on all of the most popular international soccer leagues (Premier League, Champions League, Bundesliga, etc.) as well as plenty of less mainstream options like golf, tennis, and motorsports.

As a result, you should have no problem finding betting choices to match your interests, no matter what you're into!

Types of Bets Offered

Resorts World Bet also does a great job at providing a wide variety of bet types that cater to different styles of betting. So, whether you prefer straightforward moneyline bets, exciting prop bets, or strategic parlays, Resorts World Bet has you covered.

My only complaint, as mentioned briefly above, would be that their selection of alternate lines and player props is a bit thin compared to some of the other bigger-name sportsbooks.

While the Resorts World Bet Sportsbook is certainly no slouch in this department, I personally believe that there are better platforms out there for same-game parlay bettors and fans of more niche betting options.

Safety, Security, & Fairness – Rating 4/5

In my experience reviewing online sportsbooks and mobile betting apps, there are no factors more important than safety, security, and trust. These elements form the foundation of a positive betting experience and are vital considerations for any bettor.

Without assurance in these areas, the enjoyment of sports betting is overshadowed by concerns about the safety of personal information and the fairness of the platform.

Fortunately, Resorts World Bet excels in this particular category and has earned a stellar 4/5 rating from me and my team. Allow me to explain why by answering some of the most important questions on this topic:

Is Resorts World Bet Legit?

Yes! Resorts World Bet is a legitimate mobile betting operator in the state of New York. The sportsbook is licensed and regulated by the New York State Gaming Commission, and this regulatory oversight ensures that the sportsbook adheres to strict standards of fairness, security, and responsible gambling practices.

Therefore, bettors can trust that their transactions and personal information are handled securely, providing peace of mind while enjoying the platform's offerings.

The only reason the Resorts World Bet Sportsbook didn't earn a perfect 5/5 rating was due to the high percentage of negative reviews left on the App Store and Google Play Store, many of which included words like "scam" and "unethical practices."

These reports are a bit concerning. However, it's important to understand that you will find all sorts of similar complaints from disgruntled bettors if you take a look at the reviews for DraftKings, FanDuel, and all of the other industry leaders.

Therefore, I personally take these claims with a grain of salt. While negative reviews can't be ignored, it's important to consider them alongside positive feedback and the overall reputation of the platform.

Who Owns Resorts World Sportsbook?

Resorts World Bet is owned by the iconic "Resorts World" casino brand and its parent company, Genting. Genting Group is a multinational conglomerate with interests in leisure, hospitality, and entertainment, and it operates numerous resorts and casinos worldwide.

As the owner of the Resorts World Bet Sportsbook, Genting brings its expertise in the gaming industry to provide a comprehensive and exciting sports betting experience for all users.

Where Is Resorts World Bet Legal?

The Resorts World Bet Sportsbook is currently only legal and available in the state of New York. Therefore, you'll need to be at least 21 years old and physically located in the Empire State in order to sign up and start placing bets on the app.

However, it's worth noting that there has been talk here recently about Resorts World Bet expanding its online sportsbook operation into New Jersey and other U.S. states at some point in the future.

Customer Service & Support – Rating 4/5

When it comes to customer service at the Resorts World Sportsbook, they offer help through live chat, email, and an FAQ page, ensuring users have multiple ways to get assistance.

I personally reached out via live chat for this review, and I was pleasantly surprised by their quick response time – they got back to me almost immediately. The staff member I spoke with was not only friendly but also very helpful, answering all of my questions in a timely manner.

Additionally, their FAQ page is well-organized and comprehensive, covering a wide range of topics and providing valuable information for users. Overall, Resorts World Bet's customer service exceeded my expectations and earned a stellar 4/5 rating from me and my team.

How Does Resorts World Bet Compare to Other NY Sportsbooks?

Now that you've learned all about Resorts World Bet, are you wondering how it stacks up against the competition? Well, let's find out. Here's a quick breakdown of how the platform compares to some of the most popular online sportsbooks in New York today:

DraftKings vs Resorts World Bet

DraftKings is one of the biggest names in the American sports betting industry, and it has a few key advantages over Resorts World Bet and its other competitors.

First, DraftKings offers frequent bonuses like no-sweat bets, same-game parlay promos, odds boosts, and Bet & Get promotions, which add extra value for users. These promotions are available to both new and existing users, keeping them engaged and satisfied.

In addition, DraftKings provides a wide range of betting options, especially for same-game parlay bettors, with lots of choices for alternate lines and prop bets. Overall, DraftKings provides a fun and rewarding sports betting experience, making it a popular choice among bettors.

FanDuel vs Resorts World Bet

Another great option is FanDuel Sportsbook, which, like DraftKings, started as a daily fantasy sports provider before expanding into sports betting. FanDuel has an advantage over Resorts World Bet with its top-notch mobile app, known for its easy-to-use interface and smooth operation.

This app provides a hassle-free betting experience, making FanDuel stand out from the competition. Plus, FanDuel usually offers one of the best welcome bonuses among online sportsbooks, making it appealing for new users looking to get started with some extra perks.

Caesars vs Resorts World Bet

Last but not least, Caesars Sportsbook is a popular option among New York sports bettors, and just like Resorts World Bet, it's owned by a reputable casino brand. However, Caesars has an advantage with its top-tier customer rewards program, which offers enticing perks and incentives to loyal users.

Plus, Caesars is known for its extensive coverage of sports and leagues, ensuring there's always something to bet on, no matter your interests. Overall, Caesars Sportsbook provides a great balance of rewards and betting options, making it a strong contender in the New York sports betting arena.

Competitive odds, exciting bonuses for both new and existing users, and a user-friendly platform are just a few of the many things that I like about the up-and-coming sportsbook.
