Key Storylines
Recent form
- The Ducks have won five games in a row, most recently beating the Colorado Avalanche in a 2-1 shootout. The Ducks have worked their way into third place in the Pacific Division and they will try to get a win to put some space between themselves and the teams below them in the division.
- The Kraken ended a four-game losing streak with a solid 4-1 win over the New York Islanders, showing renewed energy and scoring balance across their roster. Seattle is one of the teams behind the Ducks in the Pacific Division and this is a huge contest for them.
Goaltending
- Anaheim’s Lukas Dostal has held strong in net in recent outings, making crucial saves and stabilizing puck control at key moments. His GAA is over 3.00 for the season, but the Ducks are getting wins with him in net and that's a positive.
- Seattle has rotated goaltenders but relied recently on Philipp Grubauer, who delivered a quality performance in the win over the Islanders. Grubauer has a 2.37 GAA this season and he has been a big asset for the Kraken now that he is healthy.
Key skaters
- Cutter Gauthier has been the offensive centerpiece for the Ducks all season with strong scoring numbers. He has 22 goals to lead the Ducks this season.
- The Ducks will be without Leo Carlsson for the coming weeks due to injury, a significant absence that affects top-line scoring and depth production.
- For Seattle, Matthew Beniers leads the offensive group with 32 points, while Vince Dunn has contributed points recently and has a team-high 24 assists.
Betting Trends & H2H
- The Kraken are 2-0 against the Ducks so far this season. Seattle won each of those games 3-1.
- The Kraken are 34-15 on the puckline going into this contest.
- The Ducks are an even 25-25 in the puckline market going into this contest.

Final Thoughts
This game should be a close Pacific Division contest. With Anaheim enjoying better recent form and having more depth, they should be able to get the job done on the road here. Seattle’s home advantage and recent bounce-back win make them a competitive side, but Anaheim’s depth should be too much for them to overcome.
