The Denver Broncos will host the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday Night Football to kick off Week 10 of the NFL season. These teams are on opposite ends of the AFC West standings entering this game. Denver has the lead in this division and is on a hot streak. The Raiders are in last place and trying to end a losing streak. Before kickoff from the Mile High City, continue reading to get my Raiders vs Broncos prediction.
Broncos signal-caller Bo Nix has been steady, efficient, and able to finish drives with touchdowns for his team. He has thrown for 1,976 yards, 17 touchdowns, and six interceptions on the season. Nix is also good at making plays with his legs when necessary.
Raiders starter Geno Smith has had his moments but has struggled with interceptions. His overall efficiency has been among the worst in the league among starting quarterbacks. Smith has 1,701 passing yards with 11 touchdowns and a league-high 11 interceptions. The Raiders need Smith to take better care of the football if they want any chance to win this game.
Score Projection: Raiders 10 – Broncos 27
Win Probability: Raiders 25%, Broncos 75%
The Las Vegas Raiders are making too many mistakes to be a competitive football team in most games this season. They managed to lose respectably last week against a Jaguars team with an ill Trevor Lawrence at quarterback. But Geno Smith's turnover woes make it hard to think that they will stay close on the road against the Broncos on a short week here. I'll lay the points with Denver to kick off Week 10 in the NFL.
