Broncos vs Chiefs Betting Pick
This game will be played at Arrowhead Stadium at 8:20 PM ET on Sunday, December 5, 2021.
Why Bet The Broncos:
✅ The Chiefs have beaten the Broncos 11 straight times dating back to the 2015 season. But the Broncos kept five of those games within single digits on the scoreboard, and they should be able to keep this game competitive as well. Denver has won three of its last four games, and should be able to stay within a possession.
✅ Kansas City has won four straight games themselves, but they haven’t been all that convincing offensively during that run. The Chiefs won two of those four games by just one possession, and needed to hold the Dallas Cowboys to an uncharacteristically low nine points to beat them by 10. The Chiefs have had trouble performing on both sides of the ball and will fail to cover again here.

✅ Denver is 6-5 against the spread this season, while the Chiefs are a lowly 4-7 against the spread on the year. In the overvalued Andy Reid bye week spot, the Chiefs will drop to 4-8 against the number in the 2021 regular season.
Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos beat the Los Angeles Chargers last week by 15 points, giving them their third win in four weeks. That victory moved the Broncos to 6-5 on the season, just a game back of the Kansas City Chiefs for first place in the AFC West. For the Broncos to have a shot at moving to 7-5 and into a tie for first place, their defense will need to bring their best against Patrick Mahomes.
Denver’s pass rush will be the big concern for their defense coming into this game. Patrick Mahomes is great at extending plays and moving out of the pocket, but he might not have to against a Broncos team that traded away Von Miller in the middle of the season. Here, the Broncos will need to find a way to generate pressure to hassle the two-time defending AFC champions.
Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off of their bye week, having won their fourth straight game in their last time out. Now they face a division rival coming off of the bye, a spot that Andy Reid coached teams are historically very good in. But the Chiefs have been far from perfect this season, and their shortcomings could supersede any past trends involving Reid and his teams playing after a bye.
Despite winning four in a row, the Chiefs have failed to score 21 or more points in three of those four victories. Against a Denver team that has the potential to move the ball in their own right, the Chiefs will need to get stops and put their offense in the best possible position to succeed if they want to win here.
