Key Storylines
- The Clippers have won four in a row and look to keep momentum alive on the road. Los Angeles is scoring efficiently, with James Harden averaging around 26 points per game and Kawhi Leonard connecting on a high volume of three-pointers. Clippers’ recent wins have featured balanced scoring and solid assist numbers, including an impressive road win over the Detroit Pistons, who are atop the Eastern Conference standings.
- Toronto enters this contest with a better overall record (25-17) and has been one of the better defensive teams in the league, allowing 112.1 points per game and holding opponents to sub-47% shooting. The Raptors are 3-2 over their last five games and will try to get a second straight win in this matchup with the Clippers.
- Injuries could influence the game flow on both sides. The Raptors have several players listed as day-to-day including Jakob Poeltl, RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, and others, which may impact their rotations and bench depth. The Clippers have several day-to-day designations too such as Ivica Zubac, Kawhi Leonard, and John Collins. Bogdan Bogdanovic is out for this game as well, which could make it tough for the Clippers to get a fifth straight win.
- Los Angeles has rebounding struggles away from home, ranking toward the bottom of the league in boards per game on the road. That could give Toronto an edge on second-chance opportunities and pace control in this contest from Canada.

Final Thoughts
I'm taking the points with the Toronto Raptors in this contest from Scotiabank Arena. The Clippers are playing better basketball of late, but they could be without several key contributors here, while they also grapple with a 6-14 road record for the season. The Raps could win this game outright and I'll take the points with them at home here.
