Key Storylines
There’s plenty on the line for both teams. Houston is ranked in the top 25 and is trying to lock in a strong finish to what has been one of its best Big 12 seasons. The Cougars are just one game back of BYU and Texas Tech in the loss column during conference play. Winning out and getting some help could help them get into the Big 12 title game.
TCU is looking to close out the regular season on a positive note. They lost their last two games and will be searching for a bounce-back to regain momentum. What complicates things for TCU is their injury report. They’ll be without safety Bud Clark, running back Kevorian Barnes, cornerback Avery Helm, and their kicker Kyle Lemmermann.
