The Gonzaga Bulldogs (17-1) are riding a 10-game winning streak and open as heavy favorites over the Washington State Cougars (8-10) in Pullman. Gonzaga’s balanced offensive attack and stingy defense against lesser competition have positioned them as one of the most dangerous squads in the West Coast Conference once again. Washington State is coming off a loss to Saint Mary's on the road and will try to pull off a huge upset on their home floor here. Before tip-off in the WCC, keep reading to find my Gonzaga vs Washington State prediction.
Pick: | Washington State +18.5 ATS PRO |
Confidence: | 3/5 |
Score Projection: Gonzaga 92 – Washington State 79 ATS PRO
Win Probability: Gonzaga 90%, Washington State 10% ATS PRO
I'm not expecting the Washington State Cougars to shock the world and defeat Gonzaga on Thursday night. Still, I'm encouraged from what we saw out of Wazzu in their last outing in Moraga. I'm going to take the points with Washington State in this matchup, as they should be able to keep this game reasonably competitive on their home floor, even if Gonzaga ends up winning the game by double-digits when all is said and done.
