Alabama travels to Nashville for a key Southeastern Conference matchup with undefeated Vanderbilt on Wednesday night. This contest is a huge chance for both teams to make a statement early in conference play. Alabama enters after a commanding win over Kentucky in its most recent outing and is looking to build on that. Vanderbilt’s perfect record and high-powered offense have turned some heads. But only one team will get the win in this contest. Before it begins in Nashville, continue reading to get my Alabama vs Vanderbilt prediction.

Score Projection: Vanderbilt 89 – Alabama 83
Win Probability: Vanderbilt 62%, Alabama 38%
This might be the biggest game in the recent history of Vanderbilt basketball and I think the Commodores will rise to the occasion on their home floor. I'll lay the points with Vandy here, as I'm not all that impressed with Alabama's body of work this season, especially with them being so unproven on the road thus far. Look for Vandy to stay undefeated for now and for the buzz around that program to get a little louder after tonight.
