Trey McBride projections and prop bets for Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams on Dec 28, 2024
Receiving Yards Prop Bet Odds:
At a -6.5-point disadvantage, the Cardinals are underdogs in this week's contest, indicating more of an emphasis on passing than their typical game plan.
Still weather conditions (like the 1-mph wind being projected in this game) generally prompt increased passing effectiveness, higher touchdown potential, higher air attack volume, and lower rush volume.
Trey McBride's 91.2% Route Participation% this season represents a significant improvement in his air attack usage over last season's 62.7% figure.
The model projects Trey McBride to accumulate 9.4 targets this week, on average, placing him in the 99th percentile when it comes to TEs.
Trey McBride has accrued significantly more adjusted receiving yards per game (73.0) this season than he did last season (47.0).
Given their underlying strategic approach and game dynamics, the Arizona Cardinals are projected by the predictive model to run only 63.3 total plays in this contest: the 5th-fewest on the slate this week.
The Cardinals have run the 8th-fewest plays in the NFL this year, totaling a mere 55.6 plays per game.
Opposing QBs have averaged 32.5 pass attempts per game versus the Rams defense this year: 7th-fewest in football.
This year, the daunting Rams defense has allowed a feeble 72.9% Adjusted Completion Rate versus opposing tight ends: the 9th-smallest rate in football.
The Rams defensive ends grade out as the 2nd-best DE corps in the NFL this year when it comes to pass rush.
Trey McBride is projected to have 71.2 Receiving Yards in this weeks game.
