De'Anthony Melton projections and prop bets for Dallas Mavericks at Golden State Warriors on Nov 12, 2024
Points Prop Bet Odds:
De'Anthony Melton has made 2.0 shots from downtown per game since the start of last season, ranking him in the 83rd percentile out of all players in the NBA.
This year, the other team's starting SGs have totaled 6.1 3-point attempts per game (5th-most in the league) against the Mavericks, identifying this as a strong matchup.
The 7th-fastest tempo team in the NBA over the last 10 games has been the Warriors.
The Golden State Warriors have been the 2nd-best offensive rebounding offense in the NBA this year (offensive rebounds maintain possession and may therefore provide additional opportunities for scoring and assists).
De'Anthony Melton will enjoy the benefit of the home court advantage in this contest. Playing in your home city usually raises player performance across the board.
Out of all players in the NBA, De'Anthony Melton measures in the 8th percentile for shooting effectiveness with an unimpressive 36.4% rate since the start of last season.
The Warriors will likely see a decline in opportunities in this game from sharing the court with the 3rd-most sluggish pace-of-play away team in the NBA this year (the Mavericks).
De'Anthony Melton has attempted 0.0 foul shots per game when playing at home since the start of last season, ranking him in the 17th percentile out of all players in the NBA.
When it comes to getting to the foul line, the Golden State Warriors's lackluster 19.9 free throws per game as the home team measures as the 5th-worst in the league since the start of last season.
Over the last 10 games, the opposition's starting SGs have attempted 1.8 free throws per game (6th-lowest in the NBA) against the Mavericks, finding it difficult to get to the free-throw line.
