Last year, the Las Vegas Aces blitzed the Chicago Sky in the final of the Commissioners Cup, winning that trophy in Chicago before winning the WNBA Finals later in the year. Here, the Aces will look to repeat as Commissioners Cup champions. More importantly, they will look to make a statement that they are the team to beat in the WNBA this season by beating their top competition in the Liberty.
A big question for the Aces in this game will be whether or not Alysha Clark is able to play after sitting out against Atlanta due to injury. Clark is a lethal three-point shooter, yet opposing defenses can’t pay her too much attention given all of the other weapons on the Aces roster.
