Mardi Gras Casino & Sportsbook | Black Hawk Colorado

The Golden Mardi Gras Casino is a popular name in the industry, synonymous with the hustle and bustle of gambling. The casino now goes simply Mardi Gras Casino, but it is still iconic, albeit modest. It essentially is a complex of three casinos, a type of gambling wonderland if you will.

One important thing to mention is that Mardi Gras Casino is directly connected to Golden Gates Casino, a sister casino along with Golden Gulch Casino. To this end, patrons can hop in and out of either casino and explore the different offers on the table. It is all one big happy family, and there is lots to be happy about. Here is a comprehensive overview of Mardi Gras Casino.

The Casino Experience

Mardi Gras Casino is directly linked to Golden Gates Casino, as mentioned. To this end, both casinos share gaming space – the Mardi Gras gaming floor is located on the second floor while Golden Gates’ gaming floor is located on the first floor. Combined, both casinos offers more than 620 slot games across all genres and 33 live action table games, as discussed below:

Slot Games

Mardi Gras Casino offers more than 620 slot games across all genres, in combination with Golden Gates Casino, as mentioned. The available slot games cover a wide variety of genres and themes. Some of the slot games available at Mardi Gras and Golden Gates casinos include:

Table Games

Patrons at Mardi Gras Casino can also indulge in up to 33 of the most popular table games. The table games section is spacious and lively, the dealers are professional and charming, and the drinks keep on coming. All table games are live, and the selection includes:

Mardi Gras Casino does not have its own poker room, but it shares one with Golden Gates Casino. This is arguably the best poker room in the city. It features 17 tables that host high-stakes, action-filled poker games across all categories. Players can also enter high-stakes tournaments, as will be discussed below under the bonuses and promotions section.

Bonuses & Promotions

Mardi Gras Casino has a simple strategy to keep customers coming back: keep luck on their side. If you don’t manage to win at the casino floor, you are more than likely to win in one or more of the casino’s numerous in-house promotions.

Most of these in-house promotions are temporary, as they tend to change after some time. They range in nature, but you can be sure that the prizes up for grabs are always enticing. Common promotions include:

· $500,000 Monster Cash Tournaments

Players stand a chance to win cash prizes as high as $500,000 in the Monster Cash Tournament. Players need a certain amount of points and entries to qualify for the tournament.

Players can also win dining vouchers to spend as they wish at any of the on-site restaurants. The menu features an endless list of local and foreign delicacies.

· Point Giveaways

Additionally, players can win as much as $80 worth of free play time for slot games.

· Scavenger Hunt

The scavenger hunt program is designed for new members to help them become familiar with the casino. Participants can have lots of fun looking for clues all over the casino. They also stand to earn as much as $200 to use as they please, including on gift vouchers and free slot play.

Poker enthusiasts have a sweet deal that comes in a series of long-running promotions. These include a Rakeback program, which pays players up to $100 for playing for at least 20 hours per week. The promos also include private tournaments that give way to jackpots with thousands of dollars in prizes.

Some of these tournaments go down every day, but others take place in between intervals. Players are urged to check in with the casino for a timeline of scheduled events.

A Sportsbook for Betting Kings

Mardi Gras Casino has partnered with one of the world’s most reputable sportsbooks, DraftKings Sportsbook, for the ultimate sports betting experience. DraftKings lists a wide range of sports and games from all over the world, including all of America’s favorite sports. Listed sports include:

DraftKings Sportsbook offers Colorado sports bettors two betting channels: physical betting at the casino, or online betting through its robust digital platform. The sports lounge at the casino features dozens of large-screen HD TVs, eight sports betting kiosks, and two off-track betting terminals for a full-service experience. Patrons can also enjoy a wide range of refreshing beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) with their games!

Additional Amenities

It is worth noting that Mardi Gras Casino focuses all of its efforts on the thrill of gambling. As such, the range of amenities is somewhat limited.

Accommodation

One of the most notable and inconvenient shortcomings of Mardi Gras Casino is the lack of accommodation services. The casino doesn’t feature a hotel, and instead focuses all its attention on giving patrons a good time on the casino floor.

However, it is worth mentioning that patrons at Mardi Gras Casino are within a short walking distance of several outstanding hotels. Patrons looking to spend the night in town can even ask for recommendations to the ideal hotels at the reception.

Dining

Stomachs are guaranteed to rumble, with such high-energy gambling. Thankfully, there are three on-site restaurants and an additional three on-site bars where patrons can grab a bite and quench their thirst. Each restaurant offers a delicious array of foods and beverages, and the array of cocktails and beverages at the three bars is intoxicating!

Here is an overview of what each facility has to offer:

· Bourbon Street Café

Bourbon Street Café specializes in southern specials, and its menu includes a wide range of finger-licking delicacies, including their signature Double-Up Burger.

· Creekside Deli

Creekside Deli is the place to be for all your favorite snacks. The menu includes hand-made latte, breakfast sandwiches, pizza, fresh salads, wraps, and desserts.

· Full House Café

Full House Café is within arm’s length of the gaming floor at Gold Gates Casino, which makes it ideal for a quick bite as you get back to your game. The menu includes burgers, nachos, wings, and fresh salads.

· Masquerade Bar

Masquerade Bar is a few meters from the lively table games section of the Mardi Gras casino floor. It serves a wide range of refreshing homemade daiquiris, including frozen margaritas, rum runners, and passion fruit daiquiris.

· Gold Bar

Gold Bar is just as shiny and sleek as gold, and the range of drinks is glamorous. The bar serves exotic wines, draft beer, and a wide range of cocktails. It also features several HD TVs where it broadcasts live sports actions from across the world.

· Golden Gulch Bar

Patrons go to the Golden Gulch Bar for the cold beer (and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages) and the only coin-in slot machines in town.
