Day 2 At DraftKings Sportsbook
The day gets started in the South region with the #10 Loyola Chicago Ramblers (25-7) playing the #7 Ohio State Buckeyes (19-11). This is going to be a trendy upset pick as the Buckeyes struggled at the end of the season. Ohio State has lost two in a row, and four of their last five, to end the regular season. The Ramblers won five of their past six games on their way to a Missouri Valley Conference title. I am not one of those people who thinks an upset happens – give me Ohio State in the first game of the day.
Another trendy upset pick takes us to the East region with the #11 Virginia Tech Hokies (23-12) play the #6 Texas Longhorns (21-11) in Milwaukee. The Hokies were on the very outskirts of the bubble until they made a magical run in Brooklyn and won the ACC Tournament championship. Texas, on the other hand, enters the NCAA Tournament on a three-game losing streak. This game will be close, but I do like Texas to prevail and get the win.
