Patriots vs Chargers
One of the more interesting games of the week takes place in Los Angeles when the Chargers (4-2, 2-1 home) host the New England Patriots (3-4, 2-0 away). The Chargers feel like a team that is going to be playing late in January, while New England seems like a team still trying to figure things out.
The New England Record is misleading as they have two wins over the New York Jets and one win over the Houston Texans, both teams have a combined two wins, so this will be a good test for rookie QB Mac Jones. New England has had close losses to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys, two of the better teams in the league.
Los Angeles has some nice wins so far this season and have lost to two teams that will be in the playoffs come January. The Chargers have good wins at Kansas City and home against Cleveland and Las Vegas but lost a close one to Dallas and got blown out at Baltimore. I am not worried about that blowout loss to Baltimore, in their previous game, and expect them to go on a run coming out of their bye week.
