Group B is back in action Friday, with an early kickoff, when Wales and Iran battle it out. Iran was embarrassed in their World Cup opener while Wales used a late penalty to earn a draw. England is most likely going to win this group, so this game could go a long way in determining the second team to get out of this group. Below is my World Cup pick for Wales vs Iran.

Why Bet Iran +280
✅ This Iran team is not as bad as England made it seem and they now know a win is needed if they want to advance to the knockout stages.
✅ Wales could not handle the USA attack and if Iran presses the entire game, I do not think the Welsh will hold up.
✅ Gareth Bale is not healthy and Wales can’t seem to do much without him.

Wales
Last time out, Wales started their World Cup against the USA and played to a 1-1 draw. The USA dominated the first half and saw themselves take a one goal lead in the 36th minute. Timothy Weah scored the goal for America in his first World Cup game. The second half was a complete reversal as Wales dominated and were probably hard done not to get the win. Regardless, Wales earned the draw with a Gareth Bale penalty in the 82nd minute.
Iran
Iran did not enjoy their fist game of the World Cup as they suffered a 6-2 defeat to Iran. The Iranians were in the game for around 10 minutes, but England started to take control and the avalanche started in the 35th minute with a Jude Bellingham goal. Bukayo Saka made it 2-0 in the 43rd and added another goal in the 62nd minute. Raheem Sterling put the game on ice when he made it 3-0 in the first half extra time.
The second half was much of the same as Sake, Marcus Rashford in the 71st minute, and Jake Grealish in the 89th finished off the goal barrage for England. Mehdi Taremi helped the goal differential as the Porto striker scored in the 65th and added a penalty in the 13th minute of second half extra time.
This was a disastrous result for Iran, and they may have to beat both Wales and the USA to advance to the knockout stages.
