Group C was turned upside down in the first match day, so the second group stage games are an important as ever. To get the action started, for the group, on Friday will be Poland hosting Saudi Arabia. The shock of the tournament, and possibly the biggest shock in World Cup history, happened when Saudi Arabia pulled off the upset over Argentina on Tuesday. Below is my World Cup pick for Poland vs Saudi Arabia.

Why Bet Poland -130
✅ The Saudi Arabia high line plays exactly into what Poland wants and it should lead to a few Robert Lewandowski goals.
✅ A win for Saudi Arabia will see them clinch a spot in the knockout stages, but I have a feeling they will be playing for a point.
✅ Poland did not look great in the attack against Mexico, but their strengths should be able to be shown against this Saudi team

Poland
Last time out, Poland faced off against Mexico and the two teams played to a scoreless draw. Not much happened in this game, especially in the Polish attack, but there should have been a winner. Robert Lewandowski stepped up to the penalty spot in the 58th minute, after a soft penalty was given, but his shot was saved and Memo Ochoa to keep the game scoreless.
It looked like this game could have gone on for 180 minutes and neither of these teams would have scored, but Poland looked the more lifeless of the two. Poland had just eight goal attempts and one shot on target in the 101 minutes played.
Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia hosted one of the World Cup favorites, Argentina, and pulled off a shocking 2-1 win. Argentina looked dominant in the first half as they took the lead with a Lionel Messi penalty in the 10th minute and had the ball in the back of the net three other times in the half before getting removed for offsides.
Saudi Arabia was not deterred as they came out of the break and were ready to go. Sales Al-Shehri got the game back on level terms with a goal in the 48th minute and then Salem Al-Dawsari shook the World Cup up with a goal in the 53rd minute. Saudi Arabia goalie Mohammed Al-Owais pulled off a few remarkable saves, and the defense cleared a ball off the line, as the ‘Green Falcons’ held on for the win.
A game that will not be soon forgotten.
