Napoli vs Bodø/Glimt Player Props: Helmersen Has Napoli in His Sights

Napoli are in desperate need of a victory when they welcome Bodø/Glimt to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Tuesday, October 20. Two Champions League games, two defeats, and a defence that has looked anything but convincing.
Meanwhile, the Norwegian visitors arrive following an impressive 1-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund. Napoli might have the bigger names, but I'm not convinced they deserve all the attention when it comes to player props.
In fact, my favorite angle involves a Bodø/Glimt striker.
Helmersen has been particularly impressive in Norway this season, scoring 12 goals in just 886 league minutes. He's also averaging approximately 4.4 shots per 90 minutes, making him an interesting candidate for shot-volume markets.
Granted, the Norwegian league is hardly the Champions League. However, Helmersen recorded two attempts against Bayern Munich and another two against Borussia Dortmund. His shooting involvement hasn't disappeared against stronger European opposition.
And Napoli's defensive numbers are alarming. Arsenal managed 26 shots against them in their opening Champions League fixture, while Villarreal followed with another 17. That's 43 attempts conceded in just two matches.
Admittedly, Arsenal aren't Bodø/Glimt, but Napoli have hardly looked comfortable defensively.
I prefer Helmersen to record at least two shots, provided he starts. I'd consider an entry price of 60¢ or lower if that contract becomes available. The biggest concern is whether Bodø/Glimt can maintain enough attacking possession to keep him involved.
On the other side, Højlund is expected to return to Napoli's starting lineup after beginning Saturday's defeat against Venezia on the bench.
The Danish striker has recorded four shots across Napoli's opening two Champions League matches, including three against Villarreal. Kevin De Bruyne's expected return to the starting XI should also provide another creative outlet.
There's certainly a case for another two-shot performance, particularly with Napoli needing to take the initiative at home.
Still, I'm not quite as enthusiastic about this one. Napoli have struggled to create meaningful opportunities in Europe, and Højlund managed just one attempt against Arsenal.
I'd consider Højlund to record at least two shots at 50¢ or lower, assuming he starts and the contract is available. Beyond that, I struggle to see enough value.
Both Andreas Helmersen and Rasmus Højlund are expected to start Tuesday's Champions League matchup, which is encouraging for our preferred player props.
Napoli predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Rafa Marín, Olivera; Lobotka, McTominay; Politano, De Bruyne, Lang; Højlund.
Bodø/Glimt predicted XI (4-3-3): Haikin; Sjøvold, Gundersen, Bjørtuft, Bjørkan; Auklend, Berg, Fet; Blomberg, Helmersen, Hauge.
Napoli are expected to bring Højlund back into the starting lineup, with Kevin De Bruyne providing creativity behind him. Meanwhile, Helmersen should lead Bodø/Glimt's attack, supported by Jens Petter Hauge and Ole Didrik Blomberg.
These are projected starting XIs, not confirmed lineups. Official team selections are expected approximately one hour before kickoff.
