Manchester City

Goalkeeping was Spurs biggest issue in their North London Derby loss to Arsenal. If Lloris remains as goalkeeper he will have plenty of opportunities to redeem himself against City’s high opportunity creating attack but could also crumble his confidence if the goals pile up. 

Harry Kane will need to score if Spurs are to replicate their recent success over City. They will also need to get a lot better performance from Son Heung-min. Son was crucial in the wins over City last season but hasn’t been at his usual level during the 2022-23 campaign. Without Son’s creativity and magic, Spurs struggle to counterattack and will need that playmaking to make the most of their chances against a possession heavy opponent in City.
