Premier League Title Futures 2026/27: Prediction Market Price Analysis & Prediction

The ATS Verdict
“Traders are firmly out on Manchester City. Their guilty verdict in the Premier League financial rules case prompted an 18-cent collapse from the morning of the verdict, and a points deduction is a serious possibility. Arsenal are overpriced at 61¢, so I'm passing on both. Look to trade Liverpool at 7.4¢ if you are seeking value.”
Club | Buy Yes | American Equivalent |
|---|---|---|
Arsenal | 61¢ | -156 |
Manchester City | 20¢ | +400 |
Liverpool | 7.4¢ | +1251 |
Chelsea | 4.9¢ | +1941 |
Brighton | 2.3¢ | +4248 |
Manchester United | 1.4¢ | +7043 |
Rest of the field | 0.6¢ or less | +16567 or longer |
Prices checked Sept 30, 2026, from Polymarket's EPL: 2027 Champion market. American odds are the Buy Yes price converted, before fees. US traders use Polymarket US, where prices can differ.
The big move has already happened. City traded as high as 48¢ on the morning of September 25, dropped to 31¢ within minutes of the first report, and kept sliding to 20¢ once the Premier League confirmed the verdict on Tuesday. Nearly all of that went to Arsenal. It's the most-traded contract on the board too, with about $3 million through City alone.
So the question isn't whether City got hit. It's whether the market overshot. Everything turns on one thing: do City's points come off before the season ends on May 30? The verdict and the punishment are separate steps. A sanctions hearing still has to happen, and City have until October 2 to appeal. I put a deduction landing inside this season at roughly 60%.
SCENARIO A · ABOUT 60%
| Man City | 0% to 5% |
| Arsenal | 66% to 70% |
| Liverpool | 12% to 15% |
SCENARIO B · ABOUT 40%
| Man City | 42% to 46% |
| Arsenal | 42% to 46% |
| Liverpool | 4% to 6% |
Blend the two and City land around 17% to 21%. That's exactly where they trade, so there's nothing left on either side of City. Arsenal come out between 56% and 61%, which puts 61¢ at the very top of my range. You'd be paying for the best case.
I'd want 54¢ or lower before buying, and dropped points at home to Leeds after the international break could drag the price into that territory.
Liverpool are the one price that hasn't caught up. If City's points come off, Arsenal gain the most, but Liverpool are next in line, and 7.4¢ doesn't reflect that. Polymarket's own top-two market has them at 35¢, though it's thin and the spreads are wide. On my numbers Liverpool sit between 9% and 12%.
“Make sure you read the resolution rules before trading. Last season's Polymarket title market said retroactive points deductions after resolution had no bearing on the result. If this season's contract reads the same way, a punishment handed down after the final whistle on May 30 won't change who gets paid.”
Arsenal
Arteta's side opened with four straight league wins, scoring eight and conceding once, with David Raya keeping three clean sheets in that run. Then came the September 19 defeat, which knocked their Kalshi price to 45% within hours.
Six days later the City verdict pushed them past 60¢ without a ball being kicked. They've won 1-0 away at Napoli in the Champions League, and the title-winning core is mostly intact even after reported target Morgan Rogers chose Chelsea. I like the team, but I don't like the price.
Manchester City
On the pitch, Enzo Maresca couldn't have asked for more. Five wins from five, 13 goals, a 1-0 derby win at Old Trafford when down to 10 men and Erling Haaland top of the scoring chart.
City would be close to Arsenal in price without the verdict. At 20¢ the market has priced the sanctions fairly on my numbers, so there's no trade here until the hearing date is set. If it slips into the spring, City Yes gets interesting fast.
Liverpool
Andoni Iraola replaced Arne Slot in June, and Liverpool haven't lost a league game yet. Three draws in their first four kept them off the pace, and Alexander Isak has carried a lot of the scoring.
The date to circle is October 11, when City visit Anfield. Win that and Liverpool are six points closer to a City side that may be about to lose a chunk of its tally anyway.
Chelsea
Xabi Alonso's Chelsea are fun and leaky. João Pedro won the league's Player of the Month award for August, and the 4-3 win over Brighton was one of the games of the opening month. Ten scored and 12 conceded through five games isn't a title profile. I'm passing.
Brighton
Fabian Hürzeler's side have been the early surprise. They beat Aston Villa 4-0 on the opening weekend, won 5-0 at Coventry, and scored 13 in their first four games, with Pascal Groß chipping in three. The 4-3 loss at Stamford Bridge shows the other side of one of the most exciting sides in the league so far this year.
If they can shore up their defensive work then the Seagulls could well challenge the more established contenders.
Date | Event | Impact |
|---|---|---|
Fri, Oct 2 | City's appeal deadline | Filing is expected. The real question is how long it delays the sanctions hearing. |
Sat, Oct 10 | Arsenal vs Leeds United | Leeds haven't lost yet. A dropped result here is the likeliest route to a better Arsenal price. |
Sun, Oct 11 | Liverpool vs Manchester City, Anfield | City's first league game since the verdict and the swing result for the Liverpool trade. |
Oct 13 & Oct 21 | Arsenal vs Lille, then away at Bayern Munich | European workload starts landing on the favorite. |
Date TBC | City's sanctions hearing | Polymarket's timing market leans toward an announcement around December 18. Once a date's set, every title price reprices. |
Jan 1 to Feb 1 | January transfer window | A deduction before the window opens could trigger sales at City and spending by the chasers. |
