Final Thoughts
The Capitals have cooled off after a red-hot start to the 2025-26 season, while the Red Wings have improved as the season has gone on. Expect both teams to continue on those respective trajectories here and for the Red Wings to get another win at home, as they enter this contest having won nearly two-thirds of their home games on the season thus far.
