Nine goals in four games. That's quite a way to announce yourself.
Cutter Gauthier has been almost unstoppable recently, and he's our featured selection for Friday's Anaheim Ducks vs Calgary Flames matchup. Polymarket US lists Gauthier 1+ Goal YES at 42¢, an interesting price considering his remarkable scoring streak.
Anaheim arrives in Calgary following a 5–4 victory over Edmonton on Thursday. It's a quick turnaround, but there's no question who's attracting the attention heading into this one.
Prediction Market: Cutter Gauthier 1+ Goal — YES 42¢
Gauthier has scored 11 goals in 16 games this season, with nine of those coming in his last four appearances. That includes consecutive hat tricks against Ottawa and Vancouver, followed by another goal against Edmonton.
Nobody in Ducks history has scored nine goals over a four-game stretch before.
What's particularly interesting is where the goals are coming from. Seven of those nine have been scored on the power play, with Anaheim's special teams suddenly looking almost unstoppable.
The Ducks have converted 12 of their last 19 power-play opportunities. That's an extraordinary number, although clearly not something they'll maintain indefinitely.
Calgary presents a tougher challenge than the recent highlights might suggest. The Flames have allowed just 2.6 goals per game across their last 10 outings, while Anaheim is playing its second game in as many nights.
Still, 42¢ for a player in this kind of form deserves attention. We aren't assuming Gauthier will continue scoring at this pace, but he's generating enough opportunities to remain our preferred goalscorer selection.

There are several interesting alternatives on Polymarket US.
Leo Carlsson 1+ Assist YES is available at 46¢. Carlsson recorded two assists against Edmonton and remains central to Anaheim's offensive production. If Gauthier continues finding the net, Carlsson could benefit.
Beckett Sennecke 1+ Point YES sits at 61¢. The young forward scored twice and added an assist against Edmonton, giving him another impressive performance during Anaheim's recent offensive surge.
For Calgary, Matt Coronato 1+ Goal YES is listed at 33¢. Coronato has three goals this season, so the lower price reflects a less convincing scoring record.
Another Flames option is Joel Farabee 1+ Goal YES at 34¢. Farabee has five goals in 16 games and offers an alternative for readers looking toward Calgary's offense.
