Why Bet the Dolphins:
✅ The Jets looked awful last week with Mike White back at quarterback after a brief injury-related absence. He will likely get the nod again in this game, but does not appear to be at his best at this point in time.
✅ Miami is 5-2 at home this season, and will look a lot better than they did against the Jets at MetLife Stadium earlier this year.
✅ There is a clear difference in sense of urgency between these teams going into Week 18. The Dolphins need to win to keep their playoff hopes alive, and they will do just that to put the pressure on the New England Patriots.

New York Jets
The New York Jets come into this week eliminated from postseason contention after losing to the Seattle Seahawks last week. Mike White was a huge disappointment for the Jets in his return from injury, helping his team put up just six points in an elimination game. Here, the Jets will look for an eighth win as a consolation.
This is an interesting game for the Jets defensively, as they have to stop two elite wide receivers in Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill. However, the Jets will not have to deal with Tua Tagovailoa in all likelihood, as he is dealing with concussion protocol yet again. If the Jets can slow down the passing attack of the Dolphins, no matter who their quarterback is, the Jets could spoil the playoff hopes of the rival Dolphins.
Miami Dolphins
Coming into Week 18, the Miami Dolphins still have a chance to make the postseason. Despite losing five straight games, the Dolphins need a win and a loss from the Patriots to get into the postseason. But to get that win, the Dolphins will likely need a backup quarterback to help them get the job done.
With Tua Tagovailoa likely out due to a head injury, the Dolphins will be starting either Teddy Bridgewater or Skylar Thompson. Both quarterbacks have seen plenty of time on the field this year, and both have been ineffective. But one good game against the Jets could help their team reach the playoffs.
