Road Sweet Road For the Giants?
The New York Giants lost 28-3 to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7 of the NFL season, allowing former Giant Saquon Barkley to run all over them in an embarrassing display. That dropped the Giants to 2-5 on the season. But the Giants will hope that going back on the road sparks some fight based on how they have played on the road so far this year. The Giants are 0-4 at home this season but 2-1 on the road and they will look to upset the Steelers to continue their winning ways away from MetLife Stadium.
Steelers QB Situation Creates Intrigue
The Pittsburgh Steelers made headlines in Week 7 when they opted to start Russell Wilson over Justin Fields at quarterback for the first time this year. Fields had led the Steelers to a 4-2 start, but the team opted to go with Wilson, who threw for 264 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions in Pittsburgh’s home win over the New York Jets. It will be interesting to see if the Steelers stick with Wilson here and how that impacts the offense of the Steelers in their second week after relegating Fields to the bench.
Giants vs Steelers Prediction
While the Giants are 2-1 on the road so far this season, one of those road wins came against a terrible Cleveland Browns team, while the other was just an upset win over the Seattle Seahawks. We aren’t expecting any upsets like that in this game, as the Steelers pass rush should make things miserable for Daniel Jones and company at Acrisure Stadium.
