On Sunday Night Football this week, the Buffalo Bills are heavy favorites to beat the New York Giants. While taking a side in this game may be tough, given the massive point spread, there is some value worth pursuing in the player prop markets. Here, we make our NFL betting picks for SNF in the prop markets, with our favorite Giants vs Bills props.
Giants vs Bills Player Prop #1: Josh Allen Under 265.5 Passing Yards (-115 at DraftKings)

The first of the Giants vs Bills props we like on Sunday is for Josh Allen to go under his passing yardage total of 265.5 passing yards. Allen is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and this pick is certainly not an attempt to claim otherwise. But the way that this game is expected to go should limit the number of yards Allen is able to rack up over the course of this battle of New York teams.
Buffalo is favored by at least 14 points at most sportsbooks coming into this contest, which means a blowout win for the Bills is expected. That should mean plenty of time at the end of this game where Allen is not asked to throw the ball. We could even see the Bills pull Allen in the second half of this game, but in any case, it is not expected that Allen will be required to do much passing in the late stages of this one.
Giants vs Bills Player Prop #2: James Cook Over 56.5 Rushing Yards (-110 at Bet365)

With the Bills likely to take the lead and hold it for much of their Sunday Night Football matchup with the Giants this week, it is also prudent to take the over on James Cook’s rushing yardage total. With the health statuses of Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley, and other key Giants up in the air, Buffalo should win this game in a convincing fashion. That will mean plenty of carries for Cook, who should breeze past the 56.5-yard mark on the ground.
So far this season, Cook has averaged 58.4 rushing yards per game on the ground for the Bills. He is coming off of a miserable performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, as he only had five carries and lost four yards in total on those attempts. But the entire Bills offense struggled in that game, and Cook should bounce back against a Giants defense that has struggled mightily against the run in 2023.
Through Week 5, the Giants rank 30th in the NFL in run defense, allowing 151.4 rushing yards per game. While some of that has to do with the fact that the Giants have been trailing in most of their games this season, their run defense is also just not all that good. Cook should have a nice bounce-back performance this week in what should be a straightforward win for Buffalo.
