- The Chargers have lost three games in a row, but their offense should finally have the upper hand against a Patriots team that could be going with someone other than Mac Jones this weekend.
- The Patriots have the second-worst record against the spread in the NFL this season at 2-9.
Going into the Chargers vs Patriots matchup on Sunday, both of these teams have been incredibly disappointing, sitting in last place in their respective divisions. But one of them has to win this week and that should be the LA Chargers, who should cover the spread as a favorite on the road. New England might have the worst offense in the NFL this season and that will be a problem against a Chargers team that is at least capable of moving the football.
