NFC North rivals will collide on Wild Card weekend when the Green Bay Packers visit the Chicago Bears on Saturday night. The Packers are slight favorites on the road ahead of this game, but this game could truly go in either direction. Up first in our Packers vs Bears Same Game Parlay, I'll go with the Bears to win on the moneyline at home against the Packers. These teams split their two games in the regular season, with the home team winning both of those contests. The Bears did need a miraculous late-game comeback in order to get their win at home. But I think that they will get a far less dramatic victory in this game at Soldier Field.
Chicago's offense played well down the stretch in the regular season, scoring over 30 points in two of the final three games where they actually put forth a reasonable effort. They should continue putting up points in this game, enough to get a win to advance to the Divisional playoff round.
Next up, I'll take the over at 44.5 points in this NFC North rivalry game. Both of these teams went .500 or better in the over department this season, with the Packers going 9-8 to the over and the Bears checking in at 8-8-1 on totals during the regular season. The expectation in the playoffs is always that teams will play conservatively and play low-scoring games. But I think that we will see these teams buck that stereotype and play aggressively throughout.
Finally, we wrap up our Packers vs Bears Same Game Parlay by taking Bears tight end Colston Loveland to score a touchdown at some point in this contest. Loveland has emerged as one of the preferred targets for Caleb Williams in the passing game for Chicago. And if the Bears are going to win this game, it is likely going to take some significant contributions from Loveland on short and intermediate routes through the air.
Loveland had a touchdown catch earlier this season against the Packers, getting a score during their matchup at Lambeau Field. He has seven catches through two games against the Packers so far this year. Expect him to make an impact at some point in this game in what could end up being the game of the Wild Card round in the NFL.
