The LA Rams and Carolina Panthers will open up the NFL playoffs with an NFC matchup in Charlotte on Saturday. The Rams enter this game as huge favorites as a Wild Card team on the road against a Panthers team that backed into the playoffs at 8-9, but beat the Rams at home earlier in the season. NFL bettors are lining up to place their Same Game Parlays for this postseason opener, and you can continue reading to get my Rams vs Panthers Same Game Parlay for Saturday afternoon.
Rams vs Panthers Same Game Parlay Picks
- Panthers +10.5
- Davante Adams Anytime TD Scorer
- Bryce Young 19+ Rushing Yards
- +500 ($10 to win $50)
Leg 1: Panthers +10.5 Over Rams
The first leg of my Rams vs Panthers Same Game Parlay is for the Carolina Panthers to cover the spread as double-digit home underdogs against the LA Rams. The Panthers won outright at home against the Rams during the regular season in Charlotte. And while I don’t expect that to happen here, I do think that this is a one-possession game at Bank of America Stadium.
The Panthers are not great at anything this season, but they do a nice job of running the football and taking time away from their opponents to make things happen. That, combined with the connection between Bryce Young and Tetairoa McMillan, should help the Rams to stay within striking distance in this contest.
Leg 2: Davante Adams Anytime TD Scorer
Next up, I’ll go with Rams wide receiver Davante Adams to score a touchdown in this matchup. Adams is a great red zone target for Matthew Stafford and has been a great red zone target in the past for Aaron Rodgers in the postseason as well. Adams is expected to play in this game after battling some injury issues late in the regular season. And while we don’t know much about his anticipated snap count, I’m expecting him to make an impact at some point in this matchup near the goal line.
Leg 3: Bryce Young 19+ Rushing Yards
Finally in our Rams vs Panthers Same Game Parlay, I’m going with Panthers quarterback Bryce Young to rush for 19 or more yards. Young ran with the ball five times for 23 yards against the Rams during their meeting in the regular season. We could see him use his legs even more in this contest against a Rams pass rush that is one of the more underrated units in the league.
Last postseason, we saw Jared Verse (product of my beloved UAlbany Great Danes) get pressures against the Philadelphia Eagles, who went on to walk to the Super Bowl later in the playoffs. Verse should have Young running for his life at times in this game, which will help us to hit this over and cash our parlay ticket to open up the NFL playoffs.
