Leg #1: Chiefs -1.5
The first leg of our Chiefs vs Eagles Same Game Parlay is for the Chiefs to cover the spread as a 1.5-point favorite in New Orleans. Kansas City has won two Super Bowls in a row, including Super Bowl LVII over the Eagles. While the Eagles are a better team now than they were two seasons ago, the Chiefs have winning in their DNA and we expect them to come away with the first ever Super Bowl three-peat.
A huge difference maker in favor of the Chiefs will be defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo. Spagnuolo has a history of coming up with plays that generate pressure at the most important moments, something we have seen in Super Bowls past, along with in this year’s AFC Championship Game. We fully expect the Chiefs to pressure the quarterback when they need to most and for them to cover the number.
Leg #2: Jalen Hurts Anytime TD Scorer
Jalen Hurts had a huge game for the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game, throwing for a touchdown and rushing for three more against the Washington Commanders. In Super Bowl LIX, our expectation is that Hurts will find the end zone once again, which will make up the second leg of our parlay for this game.
Any time the Eagles are near the goal line, Hurts is likely to score, as the Eagles are nearly impossible to stop when they run their quarterback sneak. Now that the concerns about Hurts’ knee are no longer at the forefront, we will back Hurts to score on the ground and for him to do everything he can to help the Eagles try and turn the tables after losing to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl not long ago.
Leg #3: Patrick Mahomes Under 0.5 Interceptions
Last up in our Same Game Parlay for the Super Bowl, we will go with Patrick Mahomes to throw under 0.5 interceptions in the game. Mahomes threw two interceptions against the Buffalo Bills back in November. Since then, he has not thrown a pick and has helped propel the Chiefs to within one win of their historic three-peat.
Mahomes will likely face more pressure than usual in this game against an Eagles defense that is one of the best in football. But Mahomes has not let pressure lead to bad decisions with the football of late and we do not expect him to do that in this game either.
