Wild Card Playoff weekend kicks off with the 7 seeded Seattle Seahawks visiting the 2 seeded San Francisco 49ers. These NFC West rivals have already met twice this season with the 49ers winning each of the first two matchups. Oddsmakers expect more of the same in third matchup with the 49ers set as -9.5 point favorites with a total of 42.

Why Bet The Aiyuk Over
✅ With or without Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk has continued to be the top traditional wide out for the 49ers. Aiyuk lead the 49ers this season in all of the following categories: Targets with 114, catches with 78 and receiving yards with 1,015. No other player on the team was within 450 yards of Aiyuk. Aiyuk’s 60 receiving yards per game are not eye popping, but it should well be noted that his average is significantly higher than his yardage prop in this game.
✅ The Seahawks have statistically been good against wide receivers this season, but perhaps no team has had a softer schedule in terms of opposing games. That holds true both inside and outside their division. They did not face competence in opposing passing games often, but when they did, the scoreboard got lit up. Aiyuk himself had five catches for 63 yards on eight targets in the first matchup in Santa Clara. Aiyuk is the type of player that can hit this yardage total on just one catch, so even if he does not have a high volume game, he will still have a great chance of hitting the yardage over.

San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers claimed the 2 seed in the NFC, but have certainly been the hottest team in the conference, bar none. They have won ten straight games and are showing no signs of slowing down any time soon. There is no better team and player fit than Christian McCaffrey with the 49ers offense. The offense is completely balanced and the defense remains high end. The 49ers may well be the team to beat in the Super Bowl.
Seattle Seahawks
Unlike the 49ers, the Seahawks had to find wins in each of the last two weeks of the season to eek their way into the playoffs. They also needed help from the Lions, who beat the Packers last week to secure their playoff spot. Before their wins over the lowly Rams and Jets to close the season, the Seahawks had lost three straight games. and five of six. While their making the playoffs is admirable in the first season of the post Russell Wilson era, that feel good story will come to an end Saturday.
