Unlike the 49ers, the Seahawks had to find wins in each of the last two weeks of the season to eek their way into the playoffs. They also needed help from the Lions, who beat the Packers last week to secure their playoff spot. Before their wins over the lowly Rams and Jets to close the season, the Seahawks had lost three straight games. and five of six. While their making the playoffs is admirable in the first season of the post Russell Wilson era, that feel good story will come to an end Saturday.
