Why Bet the Raptors:
✅ OG Anunoby is expected to play for the Raptors on Wednesday along with Precious Achiuwa. Their absences were a major factor when the Kings beat the Raptors 124-123 on December 13 as they are a much deeper team with the talented two way players in the lineup.
✅ Sacramento relies on their top scoring offense that averages 130 points per game but could see their production hindered by the Raptors scrappy defense.
✅ The Raptors shooting from behind the three point line is steadily improving. Shooting 33.5% on the season, the Raptors have increased their percentage to 38.8% over the last five games.

Toronto Raptors
Closer to high lottery pick odds than the playoffs, the Toronto Raptors are at a crossroads as they open a lengthy West Coast road trip. Expected to make the playoffs at the start of the season, the Raptors could be selling assets via trade if wins don’t start coming starting with Wednesday night in Sacramento.
One of those potential assets on the way out could be Fred VanVleet. Despite dealing with a few nagging injury concerns, VanVleet is showcasing his elite scoring as a point guard of late. VanVleet has 25 or more points in four straight games, including 28 points against the New York Knicks in a big home win before heading out on this road trip.
VanVleet had a massive game the last time the Raptors played the Kings back in December. He scored 39 points that night but missed a three pointer late that would have tied the game and potentially sent it into overtime.
Gary Trent Jr. is another name in the trade market for the Raptors who is increasing his value with good scoring performances. Trent Jr. scored 24 in the win over the Knicks and his scoring would be a welcome addition on a lot of teams looking for the last piece for a championship team. Averaging 22.3 points and shooting 40.8 percent from 3PT range over his last 15 games, he has been the Raptors second best player behind Pascal Siakam on a lot of nights.
Sacramento Kings
Thanks to absences for Ja Morant and Steven Adams, the Sacramento Kings kept to their winning ways on Monday night in a blowout win over the Memphis Grizzlies. The Kings took over in the fourth quarter and rolled to a 133-100 win over a weakened Grizzlies lineup.
Canadian Trey Lyles was the player of the game for the Kings in the win over Memphis and should be feeling confident before hosting the Raptors. Lyles had a season high 24 points, shooting six for eight from behind the arc in a big game for the steadily improving forward. Lyles has helped improve the bench defense for the Kings, as evidenced by his three blocks to go with his scoring against Memphis.
Three point shooting could be the key in this matchup. The Kings are red hot behind the arc, hitting 12/13 threes in the first quarter against the Grizzlies and finishing 22 of 40 (55%) for the game. Stopping the Raptors from continuing to improve from downtown will also be a key for the Kings as the Raptors are 9-1 this season when they manage to shoot 40% or better from downtown.
