Game Snapshot
- Matchup: San Antonio Spurs @ Los Angeles Lakers
- Date & Time: Tuesday, February 10, 2026, 10:30 PM ET
- Venue: Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles, California
- Broadcast: NBA TV
Key Storylines
- Star power check: Victor Wembanyama averages 23.9 points and 11.1 rebounds per game, while the Lakers are without their top star in Luka Doncic, who powers Los Angeles at 32.8 points and 8.6 assists per game.
- Center watch: Deandre Ayton is listed day-to-day with a knee issue, raising questions about L.A.’s rim protection and defensive rebounding. Ayton looked decent last night in a loss to the OKC Thunder, but he might not be able to play for a second straight night. The same concern exists for LeBron James after playing against OKC last night.
- Spurs surge: Rookie guard Stephon Castle just delivered a 40-point triple-double in a win over Dallas, which speaks to San Antonio’s improved creation around Wembanyama.
- Injury updates for San Antonio: Jeremy Sochan is no longer on the injury report after missing some time. A mostly-healthy Spurs team could have a sizable advantage over a banged-up and tired Lakers team.

Final Thoughts
If the Lakers had Doncic and an extra night of rest, they would likely be able to pull this game out at home. But with a rest disadvantage and the absence of their top player, I'm expecting the Spurs to run all over them here. I'll lay the points with the Spurs in this contest, as they should be able to hand the Lakers a second loss in as many nights.
