Phoenix Suns Betting Preview
The Phoenix Suns had a disappointing end to their NBA campaign last season, falling in the second round of the playoffs against the Denver Nuggets. The acquisition of Kevin Durant did not make them a good enough team to overcome the eventual NBA champions, with postseason injuries to Chris Paul once again hurting this team’s chances of becoming champions themselves.
This year will look a lot different for the Suns, as they have made additions and subtractions that will drastically change the way this team functions. Whether or not those changes will make the Suns a championship team this year remains to be seen.

Phoenix Suns Picks, Predictions & Betting News
Offseason Transactions
Key Additions: Bradley Beal, Jusuf Nurkic, Nassir Little, Grayson Allen, Eric Gordon, Yuta Watanabe
Key Departures: Chris Paul, Deandre Ayton, Cameron Payne
The Phoenix Suns made major changes to their roster this offseason, swapping out starters Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton for Bradley Beal and Jusuf Nurkic. Both Beal and Nurkic have the potential to provide some value on this roster, but there are legitimate questions about the ability of both to exist on winning teams given their lack of history doing so. Meanwhile, the addition of role players like Grayson Allen and Eric Gordon should provide a little more depth for a team that struggled with their second unit late last year.
Positives & Negatives
On the positive side, the Phoenix Suns should enjoy some of the most explosive scoring punch in the league from the trio of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal. Teams are going to have a hard time guarding the combination of shooting and ability to get to the bucket from that group. And unlike last year, there should be some more reliable outside shooting to help them.
With that said, there is going to be a learning curve for this team as they get used to playing with one another. There are also a lot of minutes on this team that are going to be going to players with no real track record of winning games, even if Booker and Durant will be great leaders.
2023-24 Phoenix Suns Win Total Prediction: Under 51.5 Wins
While the Phoenix Suns are favorites to win the Western Conference this season, there is no guarantee that they will do any of that. Even if the Suns do make a deep playoff run this year, expect them to come in under their season win total of 51.5 wins. The combination of time needed to form a cohesive unit, and the potential for missed time for Booker and Durant, and we should see the Suns come in closer to the 45 games they won last year.
