The Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors will meet in the NBA on Tuesday night in Ontario. Milwaukee has the better team under normal circumstances, but they are underdogs on the road during the second leg of a back-to-back here. Can the Bucks overcome the fatigue to get a win, or will the Raptors continue their recent winning streak? Continue reading to get my Bucks vs Raptors prediction for Tuesday's game.
Milwaukee enters this game with momentum, sitting at 5-2 on the season and coming off a win over the Indiana Pacers on Monday night. But this is the second game of a back-to-back for the Bucks and that could mean that Giannis Antetokounmpo or other key players are rested to avoid them dealing with the physical toll of two straight games.
Toronto is 3-4 and looking to get back to .500 with a win here. Toronto’s defense has been a weak spot so far this season. But Toronto has won two games in a row over the Cleveland Cavaliers and Memphis Grizzlies. A third win in a row would get them back to .500 on the year and would be a nice boost against a championship contender in the East.
Milwaukee’s guard Kevin Porter Jr. is listed as day-to-day with an ankle issue. We could also see other Bucks held out of action on a back-to-back here. Bettors should keep a close eye on up-to-date injury reporting before locking in any wagers. Toronto has big man Jakob Poeltl questionable with a back injury.
Player | Prop |
|---|---|
Giannis Antetokounmpo (Bucks) | Over 30.5 points (if he plays) |
Bobby Portis (Bucks) | Over 10.5 points |
RJ Barrett (Raptors) | Over 19.5 points |
Score Projection: Milwaukee 112 – Toronto 117
Win Probability: Milwaukee 42%, Toronto 58%
The back-to-back situation for the Bucks is going to be key in determining the outcome here. I'm not sure we've heard the last of players being ruled out for Milwaukee tonight. And even if we have, the Bucks will have to travel internationally overnight before this game, which will wreak havoc on their sleep schedule. I'll lay the points with the Raptors to get their third win in a row.
